Infinix Note 10 Pro Unboxing and Review - The Most Powerful Note Yet! By Izzi Boye

While the x-pen stylus is still absent from the Infinix Note series, with the 90 hertz refresh rate and a Mediatek Helio G95 processor, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is looking like the most powerful Infinix Note yet. Wadup guys, the name is Izzi and welcome to my review of the Infinix Note 10 Pro, which is launching right about now. Yeah, we're skipping the Note 9 and jumping straight to the Note 10. I've actually had this for a while, I've been testing this for a while and you are looking at the Nordic Secret color option of the Note 10 Pro. Don't ask me who named it. I think this is actually the best looking color option, but before we gloat over its design, some unboxing experience... So, bundled in the box of the Infinix Note 10 Pro is all of its accessories, nothing really new except that you have an actual glass screen protector in the box.

If applied carefully you will not need to get another one. The Infinix Note 10 Pro at a glance is quite a sizable device, you might want to forget about one-handed use. It still manages to fit in your pocket though. Back to its design, indeed this color is one that attracts attention. You really can't pick an actual color off it, as it reflects different colors depending on what angle light hits it from.

It has a matte textured rear finish which gives it a nice feeling on hand, much so, you might be tempted to use it without a case. I've actually been using mine without a case. You have this smooth Infinix branding at the bottom left. With the textured finish you have absolutely no worries about fingerprints or smudges. You also get the Infinix Note 10 Pro in two other color options, that is black and purple, but I think only the Nordic Secret option has the back all textured.

The others have the top half glossy, but enough said about its design, moving on to other matters. The Infinix Note 10 Pro has quad rear cameras placed at the top left of the device in a two-stepped bump, we'll get into the details later. The frame of the Infinix Note 10 Pro is glossy plastic and it houses all its ports and buttons. The volume rocker and power buttons are positioned on the right side where we also have the fingerprint scanner which is on the power button. Despite the massive size of the device, it is still pretty easy to reach and as responsive as we've come to expect of a physical fingerprint scanner.

The headphone jack, single noise cancelling microphone, a USB-C port and one of stereo speakers are placed at the bottom. There's nothing at the top, but we do have the second speaker by the earpiece. The Infinix Note 10 Pro supports dual nano 4G sim cards and there is a slot for an sd card for expandable storage. Speaking of storage, my unit comes with 8 gigs of ram and 128 gigs of UFS 2.2 internal storage. I think that is the highest configuration for this region and it retails for 115,000 naira.

The display on the Infinix Note 10 Pro is a massive 6.95 inches. It is an IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 by 2460 and a pixel density of 387 pixels per inch. This is the first device from Infinix with a center hole punch on selfie camera style and it's a much welcome improvement. It is actually good looking for an LCD display, the viewing angles are great. While it's not as vibrant or as bright as an AMOLED display, you should be pretty satisfied with this one.

With that said we are still hoping for the day Infinix will adopt an AMOLED display. As for the display protection the spec sheet does not specify but it might be gorilla glass. I guess we are going to leave that for valor reviews to test... oh yes... the software and Infinix Note 10 Pro is XOS 7.6 and Android 11, this time it comes with a little less bloatware but it is still aggressive with ads. With some uninstalling, disabling and a little tinkering here and there, I was able to stick with the XOS launcher since I prefer gesture navigation and custom launchers does not have full gesture support.

It surprisingly looks pretty neat and I've had no ads pop up since my tinkering. If you need a video on my setup process and how I was able to customize the Infinix Note 10 Pro to have no ads while still maintaining the default XOS launcher, 20 comments requesting for it and I'll do the video. The Infinix Note 10 Pro has a 90 hertz refresh rate display which makes scrolling through the UI pretty enjoyable. You'll get stutter-free scrolling and if you want the device to be snappier you can enable ultra touch. It disables some of the animations and makes the device a little more responsive.

I think I'll stick with the default though. With 8 gigs of ram and Mediatek Helio G95, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is as fast and as snappy as it can get. It will handle every app you throw at it flawlessly. The Helio G95 is quite a powerful processor and you can tell from its benchmark scores. It's a processor just as powerful as the Snapdragon 732G you can find on the likes of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Though benchmark scores don't tell the whole story but from my experience so far, XOS aside, this is a really good device to operate. Mediatek G series processors are optimized to give really impressive gaming performance and you can expect that from the Infinix Note 10 Pro. Thanks to its massive display and stereo speakers, you are going to have an awesome gaming experience. A graphics demanding game like Genshin Impact can run on the default medium settings flawlessly and even when you take it up to high graphics settings you are still going to get smooth gameplay with very minimal lags. On PUBG mobile the default setting is HD and high frame rates, that is also the maximum.

Gameplay here is also flawless. The same as Call of Duty mobile which can be played at high graphics setting and max frame rates. I will have a detailed gaming review of the Infinix Note 10 Pro published shortly after this video and I'm going to have it also linked in the description so you can check that out and see just how well the Infinix Note 10 Pro handles long gaming sessions. The Note 10 Pro packs a 5000 milliamps per hour battery and in my experience it is pretty impressive. It easily takes you through two days of regular use when fully charged even on 90hz refresh rate.

Setting it to 60hz should give you significantly more battery life. The 33watts fast charger in the box powers it up from 0 to 100 in 1 hour 25 minutes while powered off. The Infinix Note 10 Pro packs some impressive camera specifications which pretty much gets the job done. The selfie camera positioned on the display is 16 megapixels. On the rear we have the quad camera combination of a 64 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera which also functions as the macro camera, 2 megapixel depth sensor and 2 megapixel monochrome camera.

It takes decent pictures for the most part but I believe it can be better. By default you get 16 megapixel photos from the main rear camera, you can also enable 64 megapixel mode to capture high resolution photos. The main camera does a good job of creating a blur effect if the subject is close enough without enabling portrait mode. Its ultra-wide camera has 120 degree field of view and allows for wider shots. Its selfie cameras also take decent looking photos indoors if there is enough light, outdoor shots also look okay.

I'll let you be the judge. Its super night mode also allows you take better pictures at night. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is able to shoot 4k 30fps video from both its selfie and rear cameras with no stabilization. You can get software stabilization at 1080p. Okay... hello guys it's a selfie camera sample from the 16 megapixel selfie camera of the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

How is the microphone quality, how is also the video quality and the pictures you've been seeing so far let me know in the comments section, and it can shoot 4k 30fps from its selfie and rear cameras, currently shooting at 4k 30fps. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is a good device with a great processor and also great performance to match. It is really snappy and a very fast device. It is also a really good choice for gaming. Now, while its cameras are not the best I've used at this price point, I think it still pretty much gets the job done.
