I bought my Wife the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip! (SOSYAAAL!) By Carlo Ople

Hey, everyone, Carlo here, welcome to today's episode. If you missed yesterday's vlog last night's vlog, we unboxed the brand new iPhone 12 Pro. But it's not just me who's going to have a new phone. I actually bought my wife, something so to those who don't know. My wife has been using an iOS and an android phone and her android phone I think, needs a much-needed update.

It's been with her, for, I think, almost more than five years so for today I got her something really nice. So this is the Samsung Galaxy z flip. So it's one of those phones that you know folds downwards, and then you open it up kind of like a makeup like case or something, and when I first saw it. I immediately thought that this would be a phone uh, that's best for her. So in today's episode we're going to do like a quick unboxing and take a look at it, and then we're going to give it to her as well.

It comes in this really nice black box, with the z logo up front uh, and you do have the details of the phone here written along the side. So if we pop the box open, says over here flip some sort of like I don't know full leather finish for the box itself uh. This is in the mirror: black color 256, gigabytes of internal storage. So if we pop this open boom, you are greeted with a nice manual, and it says the future changes shape, meet your Galaxy Z flip. So then some welcome letter from Samsung, and then you have the phone itself uh.

It actually has like a really specific care instruction. So it says that you're not supposed to press the screen or the front camera hard with a hard or sharp object. It's supposed to say that when folding it do not place any objects, such as cards coins or keys on the screen, and it also says that it's not water or dust resistant. So you really have to take note of that, because people assume these days that most phones are water resistant, do not attach data, do not attach adhesive such as films or stickers to the main screen, so you're not supposed to buy like screen protectors. For this one and again your device keeps, or your device contains magnets, keep a safe distance between your device and objects that may be affected by magnets, such as credit cards and implantable medical devices, so damning disclaimer, so yeah.

So you do know that it is a kind of uh. I don't know like a sensitive phone, but the mission issues, but anyway this is the Galaxy Z. Flip mirror black color, we'll play around with it in a bit um. It also comes with this, which is the Galaxy Z premiere service. So what this does are that it has your own 24r, concierge and a pickup and delivery service for repair requests.

Well: social, okay, and then we have, of course, a charger in my charger s, aka iPhone 12 Pro. So if you do have your own charging brick, it also comes with the USB c to USB. I don't know like plug that you can use. You also have, of course, your USB cable over here and lastly, it does come with earphones. This is the AKG earphones that comes bundled uh with the Samsung Galaxy z flip again, not all phones.

These days come with either charging bricks or earphones aka iPhone, 12 pro okay. So as we are removing the plastic, so the question is: why did I feel that this is like the perfect phone for my wife well, first and foremost, uh the first time she saw it uh when she saw an ad for it. She really fell in love with the watch. So that's a tip for all you, gentlemen, out there watching today's video, you really have to pay attention to what your partner, your wife or your husband or whatever is, is excited about so every time you see her be excited about something take note of it. Take mental note of it.

You might not have the budget to buy it now, but maybe down the road. You may have the budget to buy it for her and when you buy it for her, and you act, she will most definitely remember that she liked it and I think it gives it more special meaning, and it gives it more power and more emotions and more. Furthermore, you know like a special value for the gift. It's not just something that you bought. It's something that you thought specifically for her, and that makes it that makes all the difference.

Okay, so mental note, every time your partner says that she or he or she is excited about something take note of it. Remember it and when the time comes, that you need to give him or her something dig deep into that memory. Vault of yours, and especially if you have the budget man they'd go, buy it for him or her okay, but anyways as you guys can see, we will be removing uh the plastic yo, and this is the phone in mirror black. So you do have the camera two camerae set up here at the back. You have a selfie camera and this is why it is called the z flip boom.

So it kind of reminds you of those flip phones. That became super popular in the think, maybe 19, late 90s or maybe early 2000. I forget which one which decade that became super popular. So this is the z flip, and you can already tell I guess why a lot of people like it, because it's very different compared to all the other phones that have been coming out recently, where they all look the same, and the only thing different is that it has a better camera or that it has a more powerful processor. There's no true innovation when it comes to like the form factor, which is something that I really appreciate with the foldable display that Samsung used for this particular phone, so nice looking device.

This is going out to the wife. I won't turn it on anymore. We'll leave that to her, but I just wanted to show you guys the flip, the folding action of this particular phone man.
