Huawei Smartwatch 2 - Dissasembly - Repair

Hey, how you're doing Tori's here today, I'm coming back with a short video about my Huawei Smartwatch 2 I owned this watch for quite a while now, possibly more than 2 years and after all, this wear and tear I ended up breaking it now, rather than buying a new watch, I thought I just order a new case and see if I can fix it, myself I recommend having a small fixity tool kit. You will need some quality screwdrivers for finicky tasks like these and no I am NOT sponsored, maybe one day. So after turning the device off and removing the four screws on the back, we carefully need to lift the lid and just stay gentle with it, because the ribbon cable is still attached once inside. We need to use the Philips head screwdriver to remove three additional screws. After that, using a plastic tool, we can pop the ribbon cable and with that we get more space to work. There are three more connections that we have to disconnect, and you should always start by disconnecting the battery yeah not like I do I know the other.

Two cables goes to the screen. We need to remove this rubber and put it in the new case so or what you will stay water resistant now to remove the bundle board I have figured. The easiest way is to use these holes on the plastic part and basically pried open, but being careful not to touch the PCB or anything sensitive. As you can see, there is a small silver plastic shield inside my watch, which is actually missing from the new case, so I decided to take it out and put it in there now, it's time to reassemble the whole thing, which is basically the same, that we did so far but backwards, putting back the motherboard connecting the ribbon cables again, screwing the screws back and putting the rubber back to its place, and now, let's find out if it actually works, and it does. That means I don't need to buy a new watch and I don't have to pay a half the amount of price to get it repaired by someone the case itself was ordered from AliExpress.

It has arrived, pretty quick, actually, anyway, I hope you liked my guide video. Let me know in the comment section down below, if you have any questions, leave a like if you enjoyed the video and subscribe. If you are a fan, I will see you in the next.
