Huawei P40 Pro UNBOXING! By ASBYT

Hi guys are terawatt, and this is the brand-new Huawei P 40 pro this year. We have three models: the regular P 40, the P 40 Pro and the P 40 Pro Plus. While we were kind enough to send me this reviewers unit and sponsor this video so a thumbs up for one of the first global unboxing and first impression, videos will be greatly appreciated. So let's get unboxed and see what we're working with. So on the front of the box, we have the Huawei logo, and we have a few specs as well. We've got 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage.

If we lift the lid, we have the phone which we'll put to one side. We have a case which is nice a pair of headphones, a cheeky welcomed added bonus and the 40 watts fast charger and charging cable. This p40 pro is also capable of wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, so you can charge another phone or your Bluetooth earbuds, all at once. So first off I have to say this. Phone's design is incredibly unique and the world's first in a smartphone, as you can see, we've got a quad curved display, and it's known as the overflow display, we've seen both sides curved and shrinking top and bottom bezels over the years, but we've never seen all four sides curved and like curved displays or not.

This is the most immersive display I've ever seen on a smartphone. It really is gorgeous the only parts that aren't of this infinity ilk are the four corners where the metal frame lips over the display and I think. This is actually probably a good thing, because, if you drop it corners are probably the most fragile area of a phone. This will probably help with that. The actual display technology has also had an upgrade to.

We now have a 90 Hertz, refresh rate on that 6.5 inch, OLED display and compared to the P30 Pro from last year, a great phone, but this feels wonderfully smooth. We have a next generation in screen, fingerprint scanner, which has both a 30%, larger area and unlocking speed, which is lightning quick and super easy to use. Please note some other colors are also available in different markets. We have the Huawei logo on the bottom left, and the rear camera set up in the top left. This square or rectangular camera arrangement seems to be all the rage in the last year or so not much new in terms of design here. But while we were the p-series each year, pride themselves in camera performance, pushing the boundaries where possible, and this year expects no different with the slogan visionary photography in terms of hardware. We have a primary 50 megapixels, our BYB sensor with apparently the highest light intake available with an increase of 40%, providing a higher dynamic range, lower noise and also object tracking and focus speed have been improved.

The new AI engine means the photo quality can be, is good in the center of the frame, as it can be on the edges, where most devices actually tend to struggle. So if you wanted to crop in to the corners, for example, for a different style of shot, that level of quality should be pretty much the same across the board. That AI also supports and recognizes 7 Sports, 10 postures and expressions in your shot to process the image in the best possible way. The 90 Hertz refresh rate might have a slight effect on battery drain, but time will tell on that ip68 rating on the Pro and Pro Plus I p53. And, of course, if there's an app, that's not on the store, you can of course, download apps directly from certain websites and if you're setting up your new p40 series phone, you can use Huawei's phone clone to restore from your old device. It enables you to transfer most of the apps. You use on a daily basis, straight from your old device to your brand spanking new p40 series phone.

There is a little confusion among some of you about getting most of the apps. You love so hopefully this will help I'm really excited about the development with the Huawei art gallery and I know, people will have preferences over which app store they prefer. But for me, competition can only be a good thing. It creates better products for you and me sticking with software, while they are also launching quasi, music and Huawei video, with some decent free periods for you to try it out all models of 5g compatible and will also have the world's fastest Wi-Fi 6, plus at 2400 and megabits per second. So that, in a nutshell, is the Huawei p40 pro.
