Google Pixel 5 Gaming Test - FPS, Temps & Battery Life! By BeginnersTech

YouTube what is going on, I hope everyone is doing well. So in today's video we are going to check out just how good you can game on the pixel 5. So in my gaming test, what we do is, I show you, the fps of every single game. You will find the fps counter at the top of the screen, usually around the middle, as you can see here on this demonstration, and I will show you the temperatures after 30 minutes of gaming and also how much battery will drain after 30 minutes of gaming as well. Yes, so, as you can see from all the games, we had no trouble with the fps.

They all ran at the maximum they could achieve for each game. I know some games are capped at 30. Others are capped at 60, and a few of the titles that I played are actually captain 90 that make full use of that 90 hertz refresh rate, so definitely a pretty awesome gaming phone. So in terms of temperatures, what we've seen was a temp of around 37 degrees, actually just under 37 degrees, so it does get a little warm and your hand around that camera module well actually just to the right of it. It's not totally uncomfortable, but it definitely gets a little warm and in terms of battery drain after 30 minutes of solid Call of Duty, it only dropped to around 93.

So definitely a massive thumbs up from me. So what do you think about the pixel 5 for gaming? Is it good? Is it bad? Another thing I will note is that the dual speaker system? Well not the best. It's definitely fine for gaming. I had no trouble using it at all so that pretty much rounds it up. If you want to see more coverage on the pixel 5, including my setup, then definitely stay tuned.
