Google Pixel 5 | Fortnite Gameplay Test With Controller

Yo, what's good you all, it's the trail, and today I got my pixel 5 here from Google. I just got this thing, not even that long ago, and pretty much just like all my other videos, I'm going to just go ahead and do a fortnight gameplay test, real quick so with this processor and ram it here. I want to see what kind of performance we can get out of here. Alright. So, as we all probably know with these google flagships, what google usually do is they go ahead and throw in the highest and latest flagship processor in here, but this year didn't really do that. This year we actually get a snapdragon 765g with eight gigs of ram.

So I want to go and put that to the test and see how that performs on this pixel 5. So I got Fortnite right here on my pixel 5, and then I also got my Xbox controller. So, let's go and see how it performs with these specs that we got, and also we're going to look into other factors like what the battery life is when I'm done, and also if it's warm to the touch or not. So let's pretty much get into this, so you can go ahead and connect a PS4 controller by the way or PS5 controller. I just want to go and get that out the way, but I'm going to connect my Xbox controller and how you do that is for Xbox One controller.

You hold down to the sync button on the back, and then you wait for it to start flashing like that, and then you go into your Bluetooth settings. So you go to your Bluetooth settings, you tap on parent new device, and then you look for the Xbox wireless controller. As you see right there, it's going to say appearing, and it's going to bring you this window right here. So I'm going to click on, allow access, and it hit here and then there we go, so it should be connected. Just like that.

I know I said that pretties fast, but I just want to get this video through, so we're going to go and just get straight into this, so let's open Fortnite right here and if you want to go and download Fortnite. Obviously it's not in the play store right now because of all the drama you just go to fortnite. com, and then you just download it from there. It's safe, it's officially from epic games themselves, so don't worry about it! So we're just going ahead and launching this up real, quick and as you'll see right there already. It's not really optimized right here as you'll see because it's cut out here right where the camera is, so I'm hoping with a future update that they'll go ahead and fix that.

But here we go. That was pretty quick. Actually that was way faster than I thought it was going to take to get into it. So, as you'll see here, the mobile frame rate tops out to 30 fps, no matter what quality we set it to and well yeah, that's pretty much all we're going to get. So what we're gonna play is team rumble and as soon as I die, basically how it works is I'm just going to hop off the game, and then I'll.

Let you all know how it goes. So, let's see the battery percentage right now we actually have 71 percent right now. I don't know if you can really catch that, but there we go, so we'll see what that's like after we stop playing all right. So it looks like we're going to hop in here soon, but yeah you can see it already works, just fine, so all right we're going to go ahead and drop that let's just go ahead and find somewhere to go, but all right. Let's just look around this map real, quick while we're just falling, and honestly it doesn't look that bad.

I mean let's go ahead, and I forgot to put in the mobile frame right here in the corner, so we can always keep track of that. That did that's one thing I did miss but yeah the frame rate just looking at it. It doesn't really look that bad at all looks decent. So I'm actually really surprised with this. If you want to go and see oh wow, I really missed that, but if you want to go and see my Pixel 4a gameplay just go ahead and click the link down below or the annotation above, but yeah we're going to go and find us a chest.

Real, quick and, like I said, the gameplay is really just looking really nice right now. So nice job google. For that. So I do see some drop frame rates out here, but it's really not that bad at all. So I think it'll be cool.

Oh, you can see it right there, but it's really not that bad at all. So I think turning everything up to 100 wasn't the right idea: let's go and do this real, quick, and then we can get out of here and actually get into some action all right, you all! Let's dip, I think we're around some action here. Oh yep, I see something going on right here. Oh snap, oh, come on man, oh come on man. I had him good.

I had them locked in oh come on. Well, you know what happens. We're done, so that's it! So, let's go and check the battery percentage on this, so we have 68. So I didn't really expect that much of a drop because we haven't really played for long but yeah. So we got one percent drop through at that time.

So yeah. I would say that there are some drop frames, but it stayed pretty consistent at 30 fps, so I'm going to go ahead and give that the jenny stamp of approval, like I feel like that, was pretty all right. So I'm hoping this does get 60 fps support in the future or even 90 fps support, because this does have a 90 here screen. So I wouldn't see why not and as for the phone, this is a little warm to the touch, but it's really not that bad at all. So I'm going to get that here, you all! So thanks for watching, if you like this video go and give this video a like, and if you really liked it go and subscribe, but go follow me.

My social media, Eddie center on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook, but Instagram and Twitter is the most active but of course, stay tuned for more pixel 5 videos like the whole for me feature and the wireless power share and all that stuff, because I'm excited about that so cool. But thanks for watching I'll see you in the next one and peace out. You.
