Google Pixel 4a $349 vs TCL 10L $249 By Tony Pazo

What's going on YouTube tony here back again with another video, it's going to be an interesting video here we do have two phones, as you can see, Google Pixel 4a TCL 10l. So you can see. I do have everything set up as close as I can get it. It's using stock launcher swipe over. We got the Google now cards we update boom boom. This is what we have Google now cards, uh everything's, pretty similar.

I even got the g cam installed on the TCL 10 l, and it did massive improvements to the camera. I'll show you guys how to install this. If you do have the tcl10l easy installation process, uh just go directly to the Google Play Store I'll show you all that towards the end of the video, but we're gonna. Compare these two we're gonna. Do a little speed test, open, app, speed test on these two and uh see which one actually is faster than the other.

So this is the tcl10. If you're not familiar with this device, it's 249 Amazon, six gigs of ram uh. What is it? The snapdragon, 665 and 64 gigs of internal storage got tons of cameras on here a lot of cameras on the back, a fingerprint reader on the back headphone jack, uh, USB type c uh single mono speaker on here, and we got this huge display and then on this one. You know what it is on that one on that on the um pixel 4 age, snapdragon, 730, g, 6, gigs of ram 128, gigs of storage and has a headphone jack, and it has amazing stock google software along with cameras, and it is 349. So, comparing these two price point, the TCL, obviously 100 bucks cheaper.

I get a bigger screen, bigger battery, which is 4, 000 William versus 3140, and you get this huge display. This is 5.8 and this has got to be like. I can't even remember the size of that one, but it's huge uh OLED, and I'm not sure what this is can't. Remember. I don't think it's older.

Furthermore, I think it's just uh LCD uh, so yeah got all the apps set up. The only thing that I couldn't figure out. This is like, I said, using stock launcher, and it has that search bar on the bottom. This is using TCL stock launcher, but it doesn't have that on the bottom, but anyways we're going to compare I'm going to open a few apps here and see which one opens up faster, so we'll go ahead, we'll start off with Instagram three two one wow that was pretty quick, not too bad, not too much of a difference. I would say like half a second uh, we are both connected to the same internet, so we're both on the same Wi-Fi, we'll swipe back out swipe back out, and we'll try twitter three, two one: okay, so the 730 is a little faster.

We can see that we'll book we can both agree there. It's just a little faster scrolling, shout out to it's a little, smoother, definitely smoother on the Pixel 4a. Compared to this one, you can see it's like hesitant, but yeah. That is the 675. You can see they're both six gigs of ram so yeah, it's definitely smoother on the Google Pixel 4a.

Next, we'll go ahead, and we'll open up YouTube. So three, two one, oh YouTube, is ready to go and uh on this one here so yeah. Let me refresh that again, refresh we got shout out to Luke, so we're getting different content on both of these, but they're, both onto my same account so yeah scrolling about the same, I would say on YouTube is about the, and then we'll swipe back next application. We can do the Google Play Store. So three, two one Google Play Store now we want to scroll on here and see which one is smoother.

Well they're about the same, I would say: there's no really smooth scrolling on here they're, both about the same okay, go back out, and we'll go into YouTube music, three, two one so the so in general, the pixel 4 is like a second faster than then uh, the tcl10l just scroll up, let's see what we got in here. We want to go into chrome three, two one boom, chrome, okay, so let me go ahead and get out of here open it up again we're going to go to uh, we'll check our website or something, so we'll go to apple. com apple. com. So this one took me directly to the website this one didn't.

So let me try that go still didn't. Take me to the website. We just want to see the scrolling on here as far as very smooth, actually on both of them very smooth on both of them. So I guess it depends on which site you're in definitely smooth on both of them. I could definitely say that so that I would say is even, and we want to go to another app.

Let's see I don't know if I have any games installed, if I do, I'll run, one see which one's faster. Let me see if I have a game on here g on this one pub g on that one. So I got pub g on both of these we'll try to start these up, see which one is faster, three two ones. So definitely the Google Pixel is a little faster. I don't know what this is, but let me just check it: it's a little faster, so we're ready to almost ready to go on the Google Pixel 4a, and we're ready, and we're still waiting on the TCL 10 pro okay, we're ready on the pixel I haven't logged in yet so pretty nice.

Okay drop a comment. Let me know what you guys think about that one, so that was that try to do Fortnite but Fortnite. You know, what's going on with that, so quick comparison on these two now I want to show you can see the obvious speed difference on here. Let's go to the Google now cards, and we'll refresh all right. So it's about the same.

Let's do the scrolling. Oh, let's move almost to smooth, not much, there's, not huge giant difference to leaps and bounds. Comparing these two devices I mean the Google Pixel. Obviously is a great phone runs its pretty smooth when it comes to this over here. Let me see also pretty smooth it's a bigger display, so you got to keep that in mind, um yeah.

So let me show you now you guys, you know decide which one is better than the other. If this one's actually worth 100 bucks more I mean I, I think it is. I would say it is because you're going to get longer future updates TCL, I'm not too sure how that's going to go but uh if you plan on using it for one year. These two are very comparable right here, not a huge difference between the snapdragon 730 g and the 665. Okay.

So, let's get out of here and let me show you how to get Guam on the TCL 10l. So basically, what I did is, let me put this right here. I downloaded this app in the play store. Let me see if I could find it. It's called g commuter g commander g commuter commander.

Whatever you call it uh, that's the app right there, it's available in the Google Play Store, and it is free, and basically, once I got here, I scrolled to the bottom. This doesn't come up. It just stays like that. Doesn't it doesn't enable the API status? So I went into this right here where it says Guam database and I installed the Redmi. I think it was a Redmi Note, 8 pro Redmi Note 8 pro and I tapped on it and installed it onto because it has the same amount of ram, and it has the same processor, the 666.

So I went ahead and installed that one Redmi Note 8 pro and I got the g cam so after that you got to give it some um. You got to enable it a little, and then you get the g cam and the g cam. It is dope check it out. I'll, take a picture I'll show you guys boom check it out its process. It takes a minute to process just like it does on the pixel, but check that out.

That is amazing. I mean I was blown away as soon as I installed it, and you also get. I took some extra photos. Let me show you the photos that I took. I got it set up to my, so I took this portrait mode using the front-facing camera check that out portrait mode be smoke down here, and I believe it's just using the one camera, but that is the portrait mode came out real good um.

I took another shot of this toy. The toy came out. Excellent, I mean g cam. Just works wonders I believe you can get it to with that particular app that I showed you can get it to show, and this is 4k. So this is a 4k video I took using the Guam, so I'm recording this video with TCL 10 l.

I went ahead and so yeah anyways. This is the video this is indoors. I also took a shot. Let me see low light, which was this one here. It was actually it's really.

It's really, really low light, so it definitely brightened it up huge, but yeah go ahead and check this app out. Let me see it's in the play store. It's called Guam, commuter or g-cam-8 or whatever it's called that one right there, and it has a bunch of a bunch of has a database. So you can go through the database. Your phone may be even in there and, like I said you got the Poco phone, it's got Motorola devices.

It's got tons of other devices that if it doesn't come up, but it should come up and if it does come up when, when you do the API, it does come up, and it shows enable you just hit this your cam, and it should pop up right here, and it'll. Tell you specifically which one you want to install but yeah. That's a video comparison, tcl10l versus the, the oh, my god versus the Google Pixel 4a um drop a comment down below.
