Google Pixel 3a Unboxing/Review

Mason pain here with an unboxing and review of Google's pixel, three, a Google was kind enough to send me the Pixel 3a and, to be honest, I, wasn't too interested in the phone portion. It's the camera that caught my eye, but before we get to that, let's open the box to see. What's inside. Obviously we have the phone, an 18 watt, fast charging power, adapter, a USB cable, a USB c2, USB adapter, a bunch of manuals and instructions plus a nifty sticker. Here are the phone stats, and it looks good, but I'll be honest. I'm, not a tech guru I'm, like you, I use my phone for taking pictures of my dog, my family and my friends.

I've been using a Sony alpha 6000 that I usually take with me, but I would like to have something smaller. It isn't large, but once you put on a different lens, it does get bulkier. That's what drew me to the Pixel 3a. It's supposed to have this really great camera. How great would that be? Instead of carrying this thing around my neck, I can just slip a Pixel 3a right in my pocket.

Let's compare pictures I took this during the day using Pixel 3a and my Sony alpha 6000 I'm happy with the pixel 3 A's pictures, I'm sure if I scrutinize enough I can find flaws, but on the surface it's doing exactly what I want. The nighttime pictures are, surprisingly good. Here's what it looked like in the dark. This is what it looks like using pixel 3 A's night mode, wow, that's pretty good lighting. Here's, my Sony camera! Obviously, Sony has a better night mode, but it's actually a pain to get a picture in the dark with my Sony camera, because you need to have a monopod or a tripod for stability with the Pixel 3a.

Just stand still for a moment and boom nighttime pictures, Pixel 3a, isn't an iPhone 10 or a Sony alpha 6000, but it does stand tall on its own, especially with a 399 dollar price tag. It's not gonna, give you award-winning photos, but it'll be just what you need for going out with your family hanging out with your friends or just taking silly pictures.
