Google Pixel 2 Review | Camera, Specs, Performance, and More

The Google Pixel 2 has been living in the shadow of its Big Brother the Excel since launch day, but with a slew of issues with the pixel to excel the pixel to suddenly seems like a much better alternative with a solid price of 61 thousand rupees. Is it a better pick compared to the pixel to excel? We find out? We've got the just black version from Google, but if you're looking for something different, then the kind of blue color trim looks pretty interesting too. It's a lot more comfortable to hold compared to the Excel, especially for one-handed use. The layout of the buttons and ports are where you would expect them to be and know there isn't a headphone socket here. Either the volume button is quite stiff, so tactile feedback isn't great, which is something we didn't like. Unlike the pixel 2 XL, the smaller one has an exposed aluminum edge around the display, which looks nice, but the visible antenna bands ruined the look a bit and there are a lot of them.

The pixel 2 doesn't get the fancy.18 is 2 9 display treatment as its bigger sibling. So it has to make do with the standard.16 is 2 9 OLED display. The resolution is also a modest Full HD, which is an exact flagship level. To be honest, the thick bezels in the front look dated, and it isn't quite the head turner as its bigger brother on the plus side, there's no gluten or image retention issue. Here and with a recent update, you can now opt for a saturated, color mode which live-ins things up a bit.

The pixel 2 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform, which is now proven flagship, SOC, there's also 4gb of ram and a choice of 64gb or 128gb of storage. Once again, there isn't any micro SD card slot and the phone only accepts a single NATO SIM other features similar to the pixel 2 XL include ip67 water and dust resistance, front firing, stereo speakers and pressure-sensitive size for summoning Google, Assistant, Android, 8 Oreo, runs flawlessly here with absolutely no slowdowns. The now blink feature also works well in recognizing songs being played in the background. It's a bit of a hit or miss, though, as it depends on if that song is in the local library and if there isn't too much ambient noise. Google ins also do a good job in recognizing objects and texts like addresses and phone numbers in the photos you've taken, we did encounter any heating issues during our usage, even with games.

Viewing angles are very good, and the colors are punchy which makes viewing videos on the go quite enjoyable. The stereo speakers are also good, too, with better mid-range performance compared to the XL. The cameras are pretty amazing in any lighting condition you get the same. Sensors and features like the pixel to excel in daylight. Details are very good, with accurate, colors portrait mode work splendidly due for the front and rear cameras.

Even in low-light landscapes do exhibit some noise and very low life scenes for the dynamic range is preserved. Well, video recording tops are at 4k, and a stabilization is handled very well. Colors can get a bit over saturated when shooting under bright sunlight and low-light. Footage is a bit noisy, but overall it's good. My unit didn't seem to have any audio issues when recording video, as some pixel 2 users are complaining about.

The camera. App is dead, simple to use but lacks advanced features like full manual control or shooting RAW images. Battery life is also good, but not on the same level as the Excel. This is mainly due to the much smaller 2700 William hour capacity inside. We were able to squeeze out a full day's worth of usage, but this was with without any gaming, and we were below the 10% mark after crossing a day, a 60 1000 rupees, the pixel 2 feels a bit expensive.

However, despite the step-brother is treatment given to its design, we would recommend picking this over the XL plainly because of the better quality OLED panel and the more compact form factor and lesser price. A higher resolution display would have been nice to have and perhaps better tactile feedback for the volume button. But, overall, if you are on the fence for the pixel 2 or the pixel 2 XL, we recommend getting the pixel 2 instead. So thanks for watching our review and for all things take longer the gadgets 360 com. You.
