Galaxy Tab S8 vs Tab S7 - Should You Wait??

So, the Samsung Galaxy tab, s8 yeah. You heard me right now based off what we know of this upcoming tablet. Is this something that you should be looking forward to, or should you just go ahead and pick up a Samsung Galaxy, tab, s7 or tablet 7, plus, let's go ahead and talk about that? First off, we still know very little about the Samsung Galaxy tab, s8. In fact, the only thing we really know, the only tangible thing that we know is just that: little tease they made when they posted or listed on the Samsung website, and I believe that was the Samsung website in Ireland, and it was listed on there as the Samsung Galaxy tab s8 enterprise edition, but even though we still know very little, there are you know some things that we can look forward to that we can expect based off of trends. You know past trends, along with current trends of what's being released on the latest Samsung Galaxy phones and other devices as Samsung is accustomed to doing. But the question in the mind of many folks out there is: should I go ahead and get the Samsung Galaxy tab at 7 or the Samsung Galaxy tab at 7 plus, and just call that a day rather than you know, wait around until around the period when Samsung typically releases its main devices, which is usually Kerala around the fall? When I'm going to give you my answer or my own take, then I'm going to go into details telling you why? I think so why I came to that conclusion and by the way, if this is your first time visiting, welcome to the channel.

Of course, if you do like the content so far, I very much appreciate that. Please do me a huge favor and hit both the like and the subscribe button there. It's a tremendous boost to this channel again, very, very much appreciated all right. So now, let's go ahead and talk about my take here: go get yourself a Samsung Galaxy tab, s7 or Samsung Galaxy type, s7 plus now that's just my take, and there are quite a few reasons why I said that, but I'm just going to name a couple of things that you should consider, and that first reason is simple. This is the best android tablet on the market as of right now right, and it's the best.

Why? Because of performance, it's loaded with top tier specs performance is just next level. Of course, build quality is just fantastic. It's a beautiful tablet, very modern look now I could be wrong for saying this, but I don't think that the galaxy type of seven or the galaxy type of seven plus is gonna, have many things that it envies the Galaxy Tab s8 for right, maybe of course the chipset, but other than that I don't know. I mean you're looking at a tablet. That's running the current best chipset right, the snapdragon, 865 plus so processing power is, you know: it's dead base, storage, 128 gigs, I'm even suspecting that the tab s8 is going to have a base storage of 128 gigs and, of course, that base storage is expandable at up to 1 terabyte.

I suspect that the tab s8 is also going to have that base storage being expandable at up to maybe a terabyte or two who knows the only thing that scares me is that Samsung started this new trend where they're removing the ex tern, the know, sim tray, I'm sorry, not the sim tray, the micro SD card slot, where you can no longer expand that storage granite they've done that only on phones, but to me, it's just concerning because they started doing some very weird things. You know like the Galaxy Tab has Galaxy Tab. A7. If you remember with that, you can't move your apps from your tablet to your micro SD card right. So they started off with that.

Then the galaxy phones came out. They didn't have you know the expandable storage. So these are crazy times, but anyways. You do have six gigs of ram on this tablet here, which is already plenty for multitasking. You have a display here, which is HDR, plus capable and has a 120 hertz refresh rate.

In short, this guy here is a beast now back to the second reason why I said you should go ahead and grab the tab at seven on the tab at seven plus, I kind of digress there for a second but anyways. You should grab the tab at seven orders to have a seven plus, simply because it's available right. So if you wanted to grab to buy this tablet, you can simply go on the website, go to best, buy and be able to pick. You know to pick up one of them. If you want to do that with the tab s8.

Obviously it's not out just yet, and you don't have to wait until you know end of the summer or sometime in the fall to get the tab. S8 plus you can get your hands on the Galaxy Tab at 7, all the Galaxy Tab, s7 plus at a discounted price. Now, I'm not sure if you watched my previous one of my previous videos, I should say I show you how to get the Galaxy Tab s7 for 350 and the tab, s7 plus four five, something I don't remember what it is, and this is of course just for people living in the U. S. You know Samsung has that trading program.

That's just amazing! You know there are a few tricks that you can use to get that tab at seven for 350 dollars, I'm hoping they still have that but anyways I'm going to leave the link in the descriptions for you to get to that video anyways. So those were just two reasons. Out of you know a variety of reasons why I think you should get the Galaxy Tab, s7 or tablet 7 plus now with that being said, I'm not saying that the tab s8 is a bad tablet at all, not at all. If anything, it's going to be a better tablet than this one right here, it's going to be an improved tablet, so it has all of that potential. You know coming to it and one of the main reasons is going to be just a monster of a tablet.

Is the chipset that's going to be implemented right, it's going to be the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 or the 888, or the triple eight, whatever you want to call it right. So that's just a super powerful chipset, that's going to be in the Galaxy Tab. S8, you probably you are very likely to have 120 hertz refresh rate just to match what you have here. It's also very possible. You have and not possible.

You are likely to have an AMOLED display on the large one, assuming they do two versions or two models like they did this year with a tablet: seven at tab at seven plus, you have the large model with an AMOLED display and an lcd. Possibly I don't expect battery to be drastically different from what you have here, but it could be again. We have limited information about the tab s8, but I kind of foresee battery to be kind of maybe slightly better than this one, or you know using the power of the snapdragon 88 to kind of better manage battery life on the tab s8. But the bottom line is that if you are looking for a powerful or the best android tablet out there, the tab, s7 or depending on your budget, you know either the tablet 7 or the tab seven plus, depending on how you know the type of screen that you like you know, some people prefer AMOLED. Some people prefer just the LCD or the TFT, whatever you want to call it, but anyways.

If you want the best right now, it's currently available, you can go ahead and grab that and again, as I mentioned, if you want to wait till the tab s8, you can always do that. Also, now it's simply going to boil down to. Are you willing to wait number one and also maybe drop some extra dough just for that possibly marginal improvement in terms of user experience right, not specs, you know, but not specs or performance, but user experience? You know. I personally think it. It's going to be marginal right, and you get the same thing with like the iPhones.

You know you get the iPhone 12 with the a14 bionic chip, which is just a monster, but when you get an iPhone 11 or even an iPhone 10, the user experience is pretty much the same granted. We are talking about tablets here. You know different platforms, you know things are affected differently, but still the improvement. I don't know again, I'm not telling you don't buy the Galaxy Tab s8 at all, I'm just saying the tab. Seven has a lot to offer first in term in terms of price, if you've been watching the channel for a while, then you know that's one thing I care about in terms of prices.

You know the discounts that you can get. If you go after this habit and it's so powerful, you could get so much done, but anyways, that's just my take. I'm sure you know. Quite a few of you are going to disagree. So let's make sure to get that discussion going in the comments section right.

Let's go ahead and share our thoughts on this. I look forward to going back and forth with you all in the comments section don't forget to like, of course, don't forget to comment, as I just mentioned. I just say that don't forget to subscribe. If you haven't done so already, I'm going to catch you in the comment section, I'm also going to catch you in the next video, as always, of course, stay safe out. There.
