Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in 2021 - Still Worth It?

So in today's video I'm going to cover the Galaxy Tab, s6 lite, to see whether you should buy this in 2021 I'll leave, links in the description below with current pricing and more information. So let's go ahead and get started as you've probably heard by now about a week ago, Samsung released the new software update for the Galaxy Tab, s6 lite with android 11, one UI 3.1, and that includes the Samsung DEX feature that basically takes the tablet from a really solid performer to an almost laptop-like experience. As far as I know, there's not an official keyboard case from Samsung for this tablet, but there are several cases available from third parties that have decent performance once you connect your Bluetooth, keyboard and mouse tap on DAX and the notification shade, and you're ready to go now. Current price on this is 329 on Amazon, for the 128 gigabytes of storage, but you can get that renewed for only 259 bucks, which is a perfect price. I bought a couple renewed tablets that were pretty much brand-new condition without any marks on them, which is crazy because it seems like I get a scratch on everything I buy just unboxing. It keeps an eye out, though, because I've seen the price go down for about 250 bucks from time to time.

So, let's say you're wanting the s pen like the tab, s7 or the s7 plus, but you don't want to pay that much. I feel like the tab. S6 lite gives you a taste of what those feel like to use, but at a fraction of the price, especially after this last software update that allows you to use decks and stay up to date with the latest features, whether you're into drawing or just want to give your fingers a break to use the s pen to move around the software. It's just a really nice feature to have you also get a 10.4 inch, 1080p resolution screen decent viewing angles, and I have to say the screen actually looks perfect for a budget device, it's great for watching videos on YouTube, Disney, plus Netflix discovery, plus and so on and full HD resolution. I don't think this display looks quite as crisp as say on an iPad, but I feel most people are going to be really happy with the quality of this screen.

You get just over a 7 000 William hour battery, which lasted just over six hours. In my battery drain test, keep in mind, though you can double that time. Just by putting your screen brightness to about halfway good thing is, it does have fast charging USB c. You also get speakers on both sides of the tablet, which is really nice to have normally on budget devices. I always have to cup one side of the tablet, so the speaker sort of goes towards me and that's something I don't have to do with this tablet.

I did a test comparing this tablet to the Galaxy Tab, a7 and even though the tab a7 was a tad louder. Overall, I do feel this one has better quality of sound and then, if you've seen any of my tablet comparison, videos, you've probably heard me say: don't use your tablet, cameras for Zoom meetings or most things actually, but that's just because they're, not as good as say on a cell phone. Even budget cell phones have gotten pretty good with their cameras and are usually leaps ahead of what most tablets can do. But if you want to use this for things like Zoom meetings, it definitely would get the job done just make sure you're in good lighting, because that's definitely going to help the camera look a little better. Now you also get four gigabytes of ram on here and surprisingly, the geek bench scores on this are pretty much identical to that of the newer Galaxy Tab, a7, navigating the software and normal day-to-day task, you're, not gonna, notice, much lag or that it feels slow, at least during my use.

Now is it as fast as the Galaxy Tab, s6 or s7? No, but I feel it's a solid performer when it comes to a budget or a mid-range tablet. You also get HD graphics and high frame rates on games like PUBG mobile, and it seems to handle all the games that I've tested without any trouble just connect an Xbox controller through Bluetooth settings, and you're ready to go. You can also get this in three different colors, usually on budget devices. Furthermore, you only get one color, so hopefully this video gives you a few reasons to consider the Galaxy Tab, s6 lite and 20 21. It's still one of my favorite tablets by Samsung, and I feel, like you, get a lot of features for only a fraction of what their flagship tablets cost.

But there is one thing that makes me hesitate a little in buying this and that's the tab. S7 light and a7 lite is going to be coming out, probably within the next couple of months, and even though we don't know all the details for sure it really sounds like it's going to be a pretty good bang for the buck. So if you've made it this far into the video, you may want to say thanks by subscribing and don't forget, to give a thumbs up. If this video was helpful, this is Brian from fish bee productions. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next one, you.
