Galaxy Note 20 Ultra vs Galaxy Note 20 - Which One Is Right For You?

Hey guys sock here from sake ticket in today's video. We are going to be talking about the Samsung Galaxy note 20 and the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra. We have two brand-new smartphones from Samsung, and I want to make sure that you've picked the right product that fits your needs so in this video, what I'm going to do is first, I'm going to talk about everything that is the same between the note 20 and the note 20 ultra and right after in the second part, I'm going to talk about everything. What is different between the two smartphones, and then we will look at the price differences and decide if the upgrades on the note 20 ultra are worth the extra price. So let's dive in and get started. The very first thing I want to talk about just to set the tone is the price.

The note 20 is a thousand dollars. The note 20 ultra is one thousand three hundred dollars. So there's a three hundred dollar difference between the two smartphones and in this video we're going to see if the extra 300 dollars you spend on the note 20 ultra is worth it or should you just go with the cheaper one thousand dollar option and save yourself some money, let's start off by talking about what is actually the same, and there is a lot of similarities. The first thing you want to talk about is the software, so software on both of these smartphones is going to be exactly the same. It's going to be android 10 with one UI 2.5, and then all the s pen software features are going to be exactly the same, so you're not missing anything there. The next thing charging both of these batteries have 25 watt superfast charging.

So if you're looking for a phone, that's going to give you a quick charge, you can go with either one of these smartphones you'll charge your phone for 30 minutes and get 50 battery life on either smartphone. The next thing, that's very important, is that both phones have the same exact, snapdragon, 865 plus processor, so the overall performance on both these smartphones is going to be top-notch same exact processor and, of course, both phones offer 5g. If that is something you're looking for the other thing, that same is on the front. Both phones have a 10 megapixel uh front, facing camera exact same camera for the front and of course both phones have an in-display fingerprint sensor. It's the same exact ultrasonic, fingerprint technology.

Then we have some basics again. Both phones are ip68 water resistant. Both phones can be charged wirelessly. Both phones have the reverse wireless charging option and that summarizes all the similarities. On both of these smartphones.

You can see a summary on the screen. You can take some notes, but now, let's move on and talk about what is actually different. What makes the Samsung LC note 20 ultra better than the note than the regular note 20. Let's talk about the most obvious difference, that's going to be the screen size. Now, when you look at the actual size, nothing is dramatic here.

Uh, the note 20 ultra has a 6.9 inch display. The note 20 still has a very large 6.7 inch display both are great sizes for media consumption and everyday use, and will satisfy anybody looking for a large screen. But when you dive into the specs there are some differences, and they're very important. First and foremost, the note 20 ultra has a quad HD plus resolution display. So it is a higher resolution, and it's going to be a sharper display, and it has a 120 hertz display refresh rate, which gives you nice smooth scrolling effect.

When you interact with your phone, it simply feels a little faster. The Samsung Galaxy note 20 has a 1080p display, and it does not have the 120hz. It only has 60 hertz display refresh rate. So that is a big difference to consider. The next thing is going to be the ram the Samsung Galaxy note.20 has eight gigabytes of ram the Samsung Galaxy note.20 ultra has 12 gigabytes of ram so based on whose buying this phone. If you are a power user, you definitely want to go with the 12 gigabytes ram.

Now, 8 gigabytes is not going to slow you down, but 12 is going to be much better handling heavy-duty tasks and also multitasking. So, even though the processors are the same, the ram on the note 20 is less note.20 ultra higher, so definitely there's some performance benefit to the note 20 ultra. The next thing, of course, we're going to be talking about the cameras now. Interestingly enough, both phones have a triple camera system, and they're, both flagship top-notch cameras for the everyday consumer. There's not going to be a huge difference, but there are a couple differences.

First and foremost, the note 20 ultra does have a flagship, 108, megapixel main camera, but the main camera on the note 20 is actually 12 megapixels and then both phones have 12 megapixels, ultra-wide cameras and finally uh. The note 20 has a higher 64, megapixel telephoto camera and the note 20 ultra has a lower 12 megapixel telephoto camera, but as an overall package, the note 20 ultra is gonna, be the better camera system. It's going to give you better quality with video and, of course, photos, but this is very important. The difference is not going to be dramatic and when it comes to camera versatility, they both have three cameras, standard ultra-wide and telephoto. So camera may not be too important to decide on which one you get, because I already know that both of these cameras are top-notch they're going to satisfy the average consumer.

No matter what now moving on to the battery life on these smartphones is going to be equivalent uh. The note 20 ultra has 4500 William hours battery. The note 20 has 4300 William hours battery, because the screen on the note 20 ultra, is slightly larger. It's going to eat more battery, but that's why it's got that 200 extra William hours. So, even though the number on the note 20 on the smaller 20 is less uh, the actual battery life is gonna, be similar.

Next thing I want to talk about again. Very important is the build quality important for me at least the Samsung Galaxy note.20 ultra has top of the line materials. It's got gorilla, glass, 7 on the front and back and of course it has a metal band around the edges. It's its a premium top level smartphone. The note 20 actually has a plastic back, and it does not have gorilla glass 7.

So the build quality suffers on the note 20. It doesn't feel bad, but it suffers a little. The note 20 ultra is the more premium smartphone and there's a noticeable difference when you hold them in your hands. The next thing s pen now when it comes to software functions, they're different, but the s pen, on the note 20 ultra, has lower latency. It's got nine milliseconds latency.

So again, look if you are an artist if you, if you want to draw things on your note, 10. If you take a lot of notes, the s pen with the lower latency is going to feel better on the note 20 ultra now, the note 20 still has a very good feel, but the note 20 ultra is going to feel slightly better when you touch the screen, and you're right, you'll feel it immediately. So keep that in mind- and one thing I forgot to mention with the Samsung Galaxy note: 20 ultra the focusing system is going to be better for the camera. It does have a laser, autofocus system uh. The note 20 does not have a laser, autofocus system.

So that's basically all the differences between the two smartphones. So here's what it all boils down to the price a thousand dollars versus thirteen hundred dollars. If you pay the extra three hundred dollars, is it worth all the extra benefits? The answer to that question is yes, the three 300 is getting you a lot of extras and every penny of that money is worth it. So if I was you- and it was, if I was trying to decide between the two, I would go for the note 20 ultra now. If the note 20 was 750 850 in that range, I would say to save money.

You can get the note 20, but the note 20 starts at a thousand dollars. All you have to do is only spend 300 more, and you're. Getting a better display.120Hz refresh rate higher base ram a better camera. A superior build quality on the ultra better s, pen latency. So that's a lot of extra features for 300.

That is worth the technology, so I would go even if I was an average consumer. If I was in the market in the premium segment, and I'm ready to spend a thousand dollars, I would just say: look. Let me just spend three dollars more and get the best out there, because that 300 is giving me way too many benefits to let go so. That is the conclusion you can get whichever you want, but I want to make sure this video was out there. So you guys know exactly what is the same.
