Camera Comparison at Night: OnePlus 5 vs HTC U11 vs Galaxy S8 vs OnePlus 3T

Hello everybody today we are going to play it on game. What's the matter, the rules are simple: I'll show you four pictures of the same shot taken with four different camera phones. You pick your favorite I reveal the results, and then I share my thoughts ready. The first thing, I notice out of all four of these pictures is how bright the HTC you Elevens output is too bright. That is, overexposure, there's also a good amount of noise in the night sky. While this light from the alley is overpowering the shot at 100% crops, you can see how this white light dominates the lettering on the side of the building and, while the other three maintain a good level of light and color the one post three T slightly lacks the clarity and detail that the 1 + 5 n Galaxy S8 provide the SH at this picture, a bit warmer, giving off more of a yellowish hue, the more natural colors on the 1 + 5, win me over.

This is my favorite out of the set. The second set of shots was much harder to pick for a low-light situation like this. Every camera did a decent job with the main focal point of the Lincoln Park Zoo sign and the Bears on top. The 1 + 3 T, however, again lacks clarity, giving off an overall haze in the shot, and when we compare the background, the s8 makes it much more apparent that there are trees in the back or D crop at a hundred percent. You can see that the s8 still offers great detail compared to the rest.

The! U 11, tries to compensate here by over exposing those resulting in a lot of unwanted grain. / noise in this third set to the naked eye. Looking at all four of these, at the same time, I can quickly spot that my favorite is the lantern cry at night, the eleven and s eight again give off that yellowish hue that results in a more unnatural. Take the one plus five is more appealing to my eye here when it comes to that here's, a quick side-by-side with the essay. So you can look at how different the color palettes are.

The eleven again captures a lot of noise in the night sky at 100%. Crop all four actually do a perfect job when it comes to detail, especially in low light. But again my knot goes to the one plus five at this point of the game. Can you start pinpointing which phones belong to which pictures in this fourth set of shots, the HTC u11 again clearly over exposes here the OnePlus 5 does a little of the same as well? The s8 and one post 3t are my favorites in the set at 100% crop you'll see how much cleaner, no pun intended. That's 8, +, 1, +, 3 TR, here picking between the two I give the edge the guarantee okay, but this is a more of a personal preference, there's so close and quality that both do a fine job.

Let me first say that I have no idea what happened to the 1 + 5 here. This picture is just all over the place, no focus anywhere. The u11 is doing its usual dance of overexposure and noise and is also quite a mess, which leaves me with the s 8 and the 1 plus 3t. Being my favorites, the s8 is clearly the brighter shot, but also introduces a bit of noise to attain that result and the 1 plus 3t underexposed, but is more true that the natural environment and lighting around this is truly a personal preference shot. The is does an excellent job, capturing its surroundings, with the limited light available and doesn't adhere to a completely overexposed shot like the U 11, but for the realism unless noise, my choice here is antique.

You can still pick up the Hancock building the antennas on the Sears Tower and the fact that this is indeed a shot taken at night with a full moon again, while the u11 provides the British shot, and it's held surroundings in the dead of night. As a does it in a much cleaner, detailed way, they shot is clear and free of noise. The green and the grass are rich and colorful, and when compared to the 1+5, my second favorite shot in the set, the s8 is still able to show a lot more detail in the picture. The leaves in the trees, for example, for this last set of shots. My favorite pic here isn't even one and that's that day, the pink on the Left billboard is deep, and the white isn't overexposed like the rest.

The black in the night sky is much darker than any of the others, and if you focus your attention to the right billboard, the yellow is also deeper than the rest, and the streetlamp isn't dominating the picture either like the other three, but all four do a fine job with the pink flamingos wall on the building and if we crop 200% I'd so give the edge to the s8 as well for detail. Comparing these four phones at night was a lot different from comparing them in the day. If you miss that day, video I'll throw a card up and leave a link in the description. The one plus three T and the one post by both had a fair amount of shots, I preferred over the competition, but the s8 was the most consistent when it comes to picture quality and that's a combination of day and night. Overall, it would be my choice if I had to recommend a camera today compared to the others.

In this video I like that, the one plus 3t can still hold its own. The OnePlus 5 surprised me in its night shots I was a little scared that there was going to be another issue with blackness and the pictures, but I'm still crossing my fingers for a camera update to see. If we can work some quirks out and the 11 I've enjoyed a stay shot. It's completely out of the Celadon at night. I would love to see a software update for this I feel like this.

Camera is fully capable of taking great shots, but it's overexposure at night is just so unappealing to the eye that I couldn't even make it one of my favorites in this whole set. There are any updates from this day forward for any of these phones be sure, you'll see another go at this. What's up.
