BIG Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Update! By TechRight

What's up Seth king Stefan here from tech right today we're going to be talking about the new update we just received on the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g stay tuned. Hopefully everyone is having a good day. Hopefully, everyone is in good health. Today we're going to be talking about the new update that we got on the galaxy a515g. Now we actually just got one for the a52, the a72 and the 5g about a month ago, so April.1St is when we got the update or the April 1st security patch for all these devices. But what's weird is the galaxy? A52 5g got an update and these devices didn't, so it doesn't look like we got a security patch for May 1st for the a52 and the a72, and you know for the most people watching this channel.

I feel like you're going to be American watchers, so these devices are international devices, they're not released in the US yet, so we're going to go ahead and put those off to the side and focus on the a525g now what's so funny about this is that I didn't get a notification of this update. It usually pops up in the settings when we go into the settings. Let's go up here, real quick. I didn't get that notification until today. Until I actually started updating the device, as you guys can see, download is paused, but there is a new update for the a525g.

So if anybody has this device, you just want to go and bring this to your attention. We have a new update and this is a pretty decent one. It's going to be about 300 megabytes also for anybody that doesn't know how to update their device. All you have to do is: go ahead and drop. This drop down bar menu right.

There go ahead and click settings and go ahead and scroll all the way down. Until you see software update, it's going to be right above tips and user manual and about phone, so we're going to go ahead and click on that, and we're going to go ahead and download and install let's go ahead and download and install and, as you guys see it says, what's new right here find out, what's included in this phone now for this update, it says this update includes improvements to functions as listed below. The exact changes may differ depending on your device model country, region and service provider. It also says the latest android security patch has been applied, device security has been further enhanced, and it says to get the best out of your device. Please keep your device up to date and regularly check for software updates.

It says the temperature of the device may temporarily increase during the software upgrade or update because of the data download and associated behaviors. Now, if you guys don't want to, you know to go ahead and search for an update every single time. You guys can go ahead and click on auto download over Wi-Fi, so download software updates automatically when connected to a Wi-Fi network. So that's what I have it on just so I can keep this phone up to date and get the updates as soon as possible. We're going to go over here we're going to go ahead and continue to download, as you guys see below it says, our software update information gives you our version.

The size which is going to be 299.2 megabytes and our security patch is going to be level. May 1st 2021 and our last one was April 1st, so it's cool that they do this uh security patches on the first it looks like, but we're going to go ahead and download this, and I'm just going to let you know how long this takes, but it's super cool that we've been getting updates, pretty frequently on the 52 5g uh and even on the regular 52 and 72 for those international users. So super awesome that Samsung is keeping us up to date with all the security patches. Also, a little caution before you download this update. It says you won't be able to use your phone during the update even for emergency calls.

Some settings may change after the update. This update shouldn't affect your personal data, but it's always a good idea to back up your data just in case. So if you guys want to go ahead and pack up your data, go ahead and go to settings back up, go ahead and back up your data, but we're going to go and install this, and I'll. Let you know how long this takes just in case. If you want to save this update for later tonight, when you're, not too active on your phone, or you're, not really getting calls, I would definitely recommend you know waiting till the nighttime or a time when you're usually inactive on your device.

So the update's gonna start, I'm gonna, let you know how long it is, and we're going to get into some other stuff. Now this has been downloading for I'd, say about three to four minutes uh. So it's going to be a pretty quick download. So if you guys want to go and download this during the day, you can- and it's already resetting it's about to boot up right here, but I do have some other information right here, courtesy of google nine to five, as you guys can see galaxy a series did get an update in May, a lot of phones actually from the galaxy a series it says, aimed at the affordable end of the market, the mid-range galaxy. A series is one of Samsung's sleeper hits in recent history leveraging some higher end hardware, with all the great software editions found in one UI.

Now it says the first to get the May 2021 security update was the galaxy a51 which actually started rolling out in Eastern Europe on April 30th joining the a51 is the galaxy a50, which started to receive the very latest update from May 6 in selected regions. It says, while the sub 150 galaxy a12 was updated from May 10th, so we're probably going to check out the updates on that device as well. I haven't really touched on that device in a while. It also says, after being added to the Google phi store, the galaxy a32 has also been updated to the most recent May 2021 security patch, which is great if you are looking to pick up the affordable, android Samsung recently released the galaxy a52, a525g and a72, which are now getting the latest security patch alongside some new video calling features. So it looks like we're going to be getting some new video calling features with this update.

So that's great to see, and these are all the devices that are going to be receiving. This update the a12 a32, a 50, a 51, a 52, a 52 5g, a 70, a 72 and a 95 g. Now, if you guys have any more questions, I'll probably do a follow-up video with this update and just let you know, you know how it goes, but the phone is optimizing itself right now, and this only took about four to five minutes so perfect stuff from Samsung. I'm happy that these updates come very quickly, and they download very quickly as well, but those are pretty much. The big features that we're going to be receiving.

Obviously, some security patches and other things to keep your phone more secure, but it's great that they're updating these mid-range and budget devices absolutely love that from Samsung and, as you guys see we're back to our home screen, yeah guys. Hopefully you did get something out of this video. Hopefully you guys are aware that all of those devices did get a May first security patch. For some reason, I can't see it on the a52 and the a72, but I will definitely update you once I get it uh, but hopefully you guys did enjoy this video.
