Apple iPad Pro 11 Smart Folio Cases | $20 vs $80

Hey guys how's it going it's Amanda recently Apple released a new iPad Pro along with this $79 case and I picked up that case just to test it out and see. If that premium price tag is worth it. I also picked up a twenty and thirty dollar case to kind of compare them and see if you're really getting what you paid for or if you can save some money and get by with one of the cheaper options. Looking at the one on the right side, that is Apple's own case, they have it in kind of gray slate color, and then they left to are the budget options, all three of them that have the same folio style. They work with the sleep/wake function, and you can fold the case back and it kind of props it up as a stand. You can use it a couple.

Different positions help with viewing or typing. So that's really useful, but all those are very similar. If we look closely at the edge here, you can see even the cutout and overall shape and design is very, very similar, and if we flip in and look at the inside, they all have this very nice. Suede II felt II kind of material. If you look at the inside here, they all have this very nice soft material kind of velvety felt material, but apples, cutouts I, don't know around the edges.

You could see a very pronounced, but all the other things like the cutouts around the camera. This is what Apple's looks like it's very nice very clean. But if we look at all three cases, they all have the very similar shape and size and clean cutouts as well for time I'm not going to show every one of these up close and every single angle, but all of these have the same thin, very minimalistic design they just attach by the magnets, and they're very thin. It's the place that I really expected these to show a major difference is the magnet, so I'm just kind of flipping around on this case. Just to see what happens if it just falls off or slides off, really easy and everything just seems to be pretty secure if I pick it up and shake it yeah sooner or later, I can get it to shake loose.

But as long as you just have on your arms, it stays really secure. Here is Apple's own case and again the magnet seemed really secure. You kind of got to get the right angle, but you can flip that front cover up, but in general again the Apple one is very, very secure and I no issues with these magnets again. If we take it yep, it still falls off with that angle, but I mean really hew shouldn't be treating your devices like this, but I just want to kind of see if they all really have the same results so, so far everything seems to be very similar. I can confidently say and all three of these brands, all the magnets are very secure, and I'm quite happy with them next up the pencil.

So the pencil now attaches to the side of your case so that you can hang on to it. So I wanted to see if they're just gonna fall off instantly or if it allows for a good grip and all three of these cases perform the same. The Apple Pencil connects great. The last thing I wanted to check is the Apple Pencil to make sure there's no interference, and it charges, and I can say with all three of these, it's really hard to kind of get on film, because you kind of got to do it all real quick to get that little logo to pop up and keep it in focus. But, yes, all three work.

The only real difference is that I could find is Apple's. Texture feels a little nicer. Maybe a touch more premium, but they're very, very similar made in all aspects. I do wish the ESR branded one did not have this low going on it, but it's very small, very minimalistic. It doesn't just stand out to you.

Apple doesn't even have a logo on it. Just has a stamp on the inside, but if you're looking to save some money, I can highly suggest either of the two brands here. Please check your reviews, see what other people are saying, but in the ones that I have they have been fantastic for the money, well, that pretty much wraps it up for today's video.
