The iPad Mini 6 has finally been revealed, and I'll be sharing the details right after this, if you're new here and want to stay up to date with the latest tech please hit subscribe, followed by the bell. You can also keep up on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by clicking the links in the description. So today, we've got plenty of news to cover for the Apple iPad, mini 6. We've got news on specs and design, as well as the first reveal of the new tablet from apple before we get started, though, please like the video, if you're an apple fan, and let me know in the comments what country you're watching today's video from, so we had a few leaks early on that suggested, the iPad Mini 6 would be coming towards the end of 2020, but unfortunately that didn't happen for those eagerly waiting, though it isn't going to be too much longer. We've started getting some reliable leaks, including the design we had a bit of a break from the iPad Mini releases after the fourth generation iPad Mini, given that its predecessor was actually launched in March 2019. That many are now predicting the iPad Mini 6 to arrive in March 2020, and that seems very likely.

We have a tweet from triple zero leaker detailing the full specs of the iPad Mini 6, but it appears that it may have been incorrect. It's not someone that I'm familiar with, so I can't comment on their track record, but in their tweet they stated that the iPad Mini 6 is gonna, have an 8.5 inch retina display the a14 bionic chip, four gigs of ram and two batteries. Now it seems to me that this may just have been a little of an estimate based on some previous leaked information, so take it with a grain of salt for now reliable analyst, Ming chi, KO predicted way back in May last year that the new, affordable iPads were going to follow the SC strategy for affordable price points and also increase the size of the iPad Mini 6 screens to 9 inches. He advised at the time of many LEDs, being used in some models, but that's very unlikely to be for the mini, and it's more likely going to be for the pro now. It seems that Ming chi quo was actually correct, is picked out of got their hands on some information, including the cad details, and not only shared them with us, but also created 3d renders they posted.

This 360 render video to YouTube, giving us a look at the iPad Mini 6 from all angles, and I have to say it looks incredible on the front. You can see a pretty much full screen display with the punch hole, selfie camera in the top center and then the touch ID at the bottom on the rear. We've got a pretty much all plain back with the apple branding. Now the information was provided as a collaboration between David Kowalski and pigtail, but they advised that the iPad Mini 6 is going to be roughly the same size as the predecessor, but thanks to reduced bezels, it will have a larger display. The exact dimensions are 203.2 by 134.8 by 6.25 millimeters and the screen size has been calculated at 9.15 inches. They of course, state that it's got a perforated front camera, and it's very interesting to see a punch-out selfie camera on an Apple device, but it makes sense to have this on an iPad.

They state that touch ID is on the iPad Mini 6 and, as we can see from the render, instead of being a physical button, they've opted for an in-display fingerprint scanner. Now, unlike the latest smartphones, they're sticking with curved edges on the iPad Mini 6, let's face it. While it looks cool on the iPhone 12 squared off edges, just wouldn't work on an iPad. They don't give any further details on the display, but given the punch or selfie camera and the in-display fingerprint scanner, then I'm assuming it has to be an OLED panel. The report from pigtail states that the iPad Mini 6 is going to use the same chipset as the iPhone 12, which is, of course, the a14 bionic.

Well. This would be great, I'm personally a little skeptical about this, as this does have to be budget friendly. So throwing in a large OLED display, along with the latest chipset, has surely got to add cost. That being said, it's an in-house chipset and one that has already been made. So it's always possible, as we get closer to the official launch, though there's no doubt going to be more and more information coming forward, and I'll be sharing it as it does for now, though, we're going to run through the expected specifications and the pricing for the iPad Mini 6 for those of you that do want more detail, so the iPad Mini 6 is expected to be a 9 inch.

OLED display resolution details haven't been leaked just yet, but it will at least be a full HD plus resolution. We get a single punch, hole, selfie camera on the front, and it's expected to be an 8 or a 10, megapixel camera, but again, there's been no leaks yet on the rear. We've got another single camera in the top left corner again the exact sensor hasn't been confirmed, but expect a 12 megapixel camera similar to the air. It's reportedly going to be powered by the a14 chipset. However, there's a chance, it could be the a13 we're expecting it to come with four gigabytes of ram.

With the choice of 128 or 256 gig storage. The size has been kept roughly the same, so we only expect a minor increase in battery capacity. Now I'm going to estimate a 5500 William hour battery, but I'll update you guys. As soon as we get more information, it's reported that it's going to support the second generation Apple Pencil as well as Bluetooth, keyboards, and if it's using the a14, then it will support 5g on the cellular model. But if they opt for the a13, then it will of course be LTE only when it comes to the pricing we can expect it to start around 450.

For the Wi-Fi model and close to 700 for the cellular, so unfortunately there is a lot of estimation off of the leaks and reports at the moment, but, as I said as soon as we do get some more solid information, I'll be sharing it straight away. As always, though, I'd like to know your thoughts in the comments so who out there is excited about the iPad Mini 6, and do you think this latest render is correct, but thanks for watching the video, if you liked it smash a thumbs up, if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice, and I'll, see you guys in the next one you.
