1st Gen. Apple Watch Unboxing [Stainless Steel]

Hey guys, what's up down here today, we're going to be unboxing the Apple Watch. Now this is the Apple Watch with the 38 millimeter case. It has a sapphire crystal Retina display it's the ceramic black color as Apple is calling it, and it has the white sports band and this retails for close to $600 with tax. So it's definitely on the expensive side of the watches, because this is the slightly more premium than the Apple Watch sport but yeah. We have a little tab here, which we just pull, and we're going to go ahead and open it, and you can see that the white or the box is extremely white, just like the one on the iPhone 6, which was super simple and plain, and this is no different, and it says Apple Watch right here, but you can't really see that in the video and the box, just like any other Apple box, you just pull up to open, and it's actually a very big and heavy box. So here we have a little kind of pull tabs here, and we have another box inside.

So let's go ahead and put that suicide right here we have something that says designed Apple in California and safe to assume. These are just startup guides and things like that, so it says Apple Watch startup guide. We have the white sports band right here, which looks really cool, and it just looks a cool the way they packaged it. But let's go ahead and put that also to a side here. Let's see what else comes in the box, okay, so we get the little charging block, which is just like the ones that come with the iPhones, and we get the actual cable itself here, which is wrapped around here, and here it is, so it's USB.

You know your normal USB right here, and then it has the magnetic charger at the end here for charging it, and it just basically connects to the back of the watch kind of like have the MagSafe connected onto the MacBook, but yeah. Let's go ahead and open this other box. Let me go ahead and zoom in for you guys, so you can get a better look at the other box here and hopefully that's correctly focused because of the white here doesn't really allow for good focus but uh. Let's see this, let's see how this is. Let's see what's happening here all right.

We have another green little tab right here, which hopefully you can see, and let me pull that see what happens here. Let's see the whole white around, it is removed, and we get another very clean white Apple box. And let me let me get this. We get this right there for you guys, so you can see it right here and let's go ahead and open it and there we go it's a really nice watch box. I didn't think they're going to be coming like this, but I guess you can use this to also charge it in there, and you wanted to as a kind of dock.

So you just go ahead and dock it on there, and it's a nice plastic box, and we have the felt here which just feels a little premium and here as well, you kind of see that which looks really cool and just close it again, and it's a nice plastic box, but uh yeah enough about that. You definitely do get the better unboxing experience of the Apple Watch sport, but here's the watch itself, and it looks a lot like the clone that I had so yeah. Let's go ahead and remove the plastic here, and we'll get a close-up of that. So you can see that and there is the Retina display, and this is of course stainless steel. So it's not aluminum like the Apple Watch sport and that's what you're paying the extra amount of money for- and this doesn't want to remove.

Maybe just goes off completely. Let's see alright, so yeah the whole thing comes off completely here. It just says basically how to put the band on I guess. But uh: oh wait. Okay, so it comes with two bands here.

What is this? It comes with a small band. It also comes with a medium band. I, don't know on I'm really confused here now. What is this so yeah? I guess this is a longer band. If you need it right here, that's what the extra band was for, which is kind of cool, but we're going to go ahead and see.

This is, as I mentioned, the 38 millimeter and Apple watt or Apple canceled, a bunch of my order, so I'm of getting this one right here in the end, but let's go ahead and put it on because you basically have two. So this one is definitely a little small for me so right here that we're in this process. Let's go ahead and try to change the band here, and let me show you how that's done here, and you basically push this little button, and apparently it's supposed to just slide out there we go and that's it, and now we just slide in the longer one I believe: that's how it's done and there it is. That's it. You're done you change the bands and I turned it on by mistake.

It's already full of fingerprints, but let's see if I can put this on the video it's kind of difficult, because you have to oh wait. If you press it on first all right there we go, so I press it on first, and then I put it in right here. So there we go. That's how it goes in the material is perfect, though it feels really great and that's the Apple Watch right there guys from first impressions, I mean I had tried these on at the Apple Store, and this is too tiny for me and for most people it's going to be very tiny. It almost looks like a kid's watch from how small it is, but uh I'm sure a lot of people can get it to look right on their wrist.

So yeah I mean it's really nice. It feels great. It definitely feels like a premium band, one of the best bands on a watch I've ever felt, but as a quick size comparison for you guys. Let me grab a normal watch that I have here on the side over here, and this is a round $100 watch which is a normal size. Maybe it's a little small, but it's kind of a normal size, and you can see these sides there.

Then it's just to give you an idea of how big this one is here, but I love this watch right here and yeah they're, roughly almost the same size, but on the hand, this one definitely looks a little bigger than this one right here and yeah. It's already asking me something: I don't want it in French, and one of the things that you're going to find about this watch right here is that it's a little small to press things on the screen, but I'm going to go ahead and pair this and check it out and stuff I didn't want to make this video a full thing. I just wanted to make this an unboxing, and I'll talk about it later, but that's it for this video guys.
