Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro - Ultimate Test Review SCORE - Should You Buy?

What's up guys high here from high tech reviews, so today I've got my hands on the brand new Redmi Note 10 pro now to keep things fun and interesting and different from the others. I present to you the ctr mark score now. This is just for fun. I'm going to be reviewing this phone in a totally different way and at the same time show you exactly how good this phone is and what are its strong and weak points. So we have 10 categories to go through, and each category can earn a maximum of 10 points. So that's a total of 100 points that this phone can earn now higher the total score better, the device so first category the box and all the accessories well you're, getting a 33 watt, fast charger included in the box, a type c charging cable, a clear silicon CPU case some user manuals and a sim eject tube, so lots of accessories included in the box, but you're not getting any earphones included, and this phone does have a headphone jack.

So let's give it a 9 out of 10 for the box and accessories. Next category is design and build quality. Now this is a nice looking phone, it's made from a plastic back, color is onyx gray, and I would describe it as a two-tone, black and gray color, with a very nicely designed and attractive looking camera bump. Now the phone is actually quite slim at only 8.1 millimeters, so I would say flagship like slimness, and it weighs only 193 grams, and you do have an USB port at the bottom. With a microphone and speaker, and on this side we have a power button, which also doubles up as your fingerprint sensor, and you've got a volume rocker above it at the top of the device.

We have another microphone, an IR blaster we've got a speaker vent and a headphone jack, and on the other side we just have a triple hybrid, sim tray. So we can take two 4g NATO sims and a micro SD card at the same time so for the design and build quality, even though it has a plastic bag. I absolutely love how slim and light the device is. The color looks great and the camera bump design is also quite neat. So you're getting the triple hybrid, sim tray and the phone has an ip53 splash proof rating.

So I am actually going to give this an 8 out of 10 for the design and build quality. So next up we are looking at the screen. Quality now check this out. People 6.67 inch, AMOLED, 120, hertz, dot display with 450 in its brightness and 395 pixels per inch. The screen resolution is 2400 by 1080, and you do have that gorilla glass, 5 protection on the front and HDR 10 certification.

The screen looks absolutely gorgeous bright and sharp, with punchy, colors and great contrast, and not forgetting that's a 120 hertz, full HD plus display with a hole, punch, camera or dot display as Xiaomi likes to call it. So, yes, you are getting some bezels going all the way around, although they are quite slim bezels and do not distract or spoil the overall design or experience. Also, you are limited to full HD, plus so no higher resolution available, but you do have the option to switch between 60 hertz and 120 hertz, but unfortunately there is no adaptive refresh so overall screen quality for the Redmi Note, 10 pro has earned a very respectful 8 out of 10. All right. So now we're going to talk about the processing power.

This phone is powered by the snapdragon 732. That's an 8 nanometer OCTA core chip clocked at around 2.3 gigahertz. This is a mid-range chipset which offers a pretty decent gaming performance with the arena 618, and it's supported by six gigs of LP ddr4 ram and 128 gigs of internal storage with UFS 2.2. Now you can play games like cod mobile on the highest graphical settings, with no issues at all so overall, decent processing power for your everyday tasks, so decent mid-range performance earns this smartphone, a 7 out of 10 for processing power, so great performance, great gaming. What about overheating now? One way to test the performance of a smartphone is to try running three back-to-back benchmark tests to see if the phone struggles, overheats or experiences CPU throttling, and it will also show you how much of a drop in performance you can expect.

So here are the results of my three back-to-back an tutu tests, and you can see the temperatures also after each test. So before starting the test, the phone temperature was at 36 degrees. The first attitude result achieved 281 k and the temperature was still at 36 degrees, which is great second test 268 and the temperature was still at 36 degrees and third test. We achieved 231 k and the temperature only went up slightly to 38 degrees. So after three anti-two benchmark tests, the performance dropped from 281 to 231, but the good thing is the device did not overheat and felt only slightly warm to the touch.

So that means you can game on this smartphone as much as you like, and you do not need to worry about overheating issues. A dipping performance is normal for all smartphones, but at least you will not experience lag throttling and overheating. So the Redmi Note 10 earns 8 out of 10 in this category. Now internal storage speeds are quite important. It can determine how fast an app opens or how fast you can copy a file to and from your device.

So we have 128 gigs of internal storage, and this supports UFS 2.2. So, as you can see, this phone achieved read speeds of 559 megabytes per second and write speeds of 266 megabytes per second, so internal disk speeds are pretty decent. Therefore, this device gets a 7 out of 10 for internal disk speeds. Now, let's talk about the OS. We have the very latest mini 12 on top of android 11.

Miui 12 brings some very useful features like an option for app drawer with categories at the top. You've got less bloatware there's only one folder you've got five apps in there, and they're actually useful apps. Now mini also comes with a folder of games that nobody really wants. Um, that's not included in mini 12, so there's less bloatware. You also have slick.

Looking animations throughout the system, and one of the highlights for myself is control center check that out people it's one of the best updates I've seen for me UI. It is, of course inspired by iOS, but it's great. The control center is brilliant. You can enable it and disable it from settings, and it gives you a lot of shortcuts and if you swipe down again, it will show you the whole list of those shortcuts. Now other features are, of course, floating windows.

Super wallpapers. You have privacy options, and you have hand, gestures and lots more. Mini 12 is the finest version of me UI I have seen so far and used, and therefore it earns itself a rating of 8 out of 10 for the system, OS so good job Xiaomi. With me, UI 12. , now coming to the cameras, you have a quad camera setup on the back, so 108 megapixel primary 8, megapixel ultra-wide 5, megapixel, tell macro and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.

So here is a quick look at the system menus. You have pro mode, video mode photos portrait more and under more. You will find your 108 megapixel camera night mode, slow motion, long exposure and some of the other favorites that we are used to seeing in the mini OS. So if we select 108 megapixels, if we take a shot I'll put the sample up on screen, you can see how fast that shutter speed is as well, and you can also zoom in two times with 108 megapixel mode. Now the standard bin photos are actually around 7 megapixels.

Now the bin shots look pretty good, especially in good lighting situation. Now you can take some decent photos with this phone. No doubt about that, and here are a few samples on the screen. Now. Video recording, however, is a bit of a letdown.

You are limited to 4k at 30 frames per second max, and there doesn't appear to be any image stabilization available when shooting in 4k, which actually surprised me. Now. The emphasis of this phone is powerful cameras. This is true for capturing photos in both day and night, but unfortunately, the importance for 4k is not there. So I guess in the camera department, this phone scores a 7 out of 10, as it does have a very good flagship level, 108 megapixel camera low light.

Shots are also very good, and you do have lots of camera features to play around with, but the lack of 4k stabilization really affects the achievable score. So 7 out of 10 seems fair, considering you do have high quality sensors for photos so time for the speaker tests. You have dual speakers, one at the bottom and one on the earpiece, but Xiaomi also done something differently. They put a vent at the top, so the speaker sound comes from both the earpiece and the vent and the bottom of the phone, giving you an up firing and sight firing sound, really like what Xiaomi have done here. The sound quality is pretty good.

It's loud, clear and offers a nice balanced, sound check this out. Now there is no support for Dolby Atmos sound, but you do get high-res audio. So in the sound department, this phone has earned itself eight out of ten. Now, let's talk about the battery performance, you have a 5020 William hour battery, I don't know Alexei, you have a 5020 William hour battery, but look at the size of the phone 8.1 millimeters in thickness. How did they manage to achieve that? I have no idea with a 33 watt, fast charger included in the box.

It takes just under two hours to fully charge that battery up, but you can easily achieve up to two days of battery life with medium to normal usage, so monster battery performance without making the phone any thicker. It's called design excellence and that's another reason why I gave it such a high score for design and build quality at the start of the video so battery and performance 9 out of 10 people. So there you have it guys. That was my breakdown of the brand new Xiaomi Redmi. Note 10 pro covering everything from the design screen, specs performance cameras and lots more so interesting results, and here is the complete breakdown of the scores and the Redmi Note.10 pro has achieved a total ctr mark score of 79 out of 100. Now the ctr mark score is, of course, just for entertaining purposes, but at the same time you are getting a pretty good idea of what this device is capable of so overall you're getting a very good experience.

This smartphone achieved good scores in every single category. Now the price does play an important role, but at the time of shooting this video Xiaomi did not disclose the price to us reviewers. My genuine opinion shows, in my scores it's a great overall experience. The highlights for me is the design the 120 hertz AMOLED display snapdragon performance great for gaming, no overheating a very improved mini, 12 you're, getting a flagship, 108, megapixel camera, very good, dual speakers, superb battery life and all of this action squeezed into an 8.1 millimeter device weighing no more than 193 grams, again excellence in Xiaomi's design, and you're, also getting some extras, which I did not expect you're getting a headphone jack on the top and also micros expansion. Now, as with all smartphones, there are a few things that you need to consider.

There is no image stabilization when shooting 4k build quality is plastic, and it's quite prone to fingerprints, and it supports only 4g LTE, so this phone does not support 5g. Now, circling back to the price, if Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 9t on their website right now for 229 pounds, I predict that the 10 pro could be around 50 pounds more again, no idea at this stage we have to wait and see. Price would have already been announced, so you guys should already know the price before watching this video. So what do you guys think and how do you guys score it do. Let me know in the comments also, if you want to see me rate more smartphones with the ctr mark score, then let me know in the comments I'm just trying to keep things informative and entertaining at the same time so hit the like button and comment with your thoughts and possible ideas and concepts.

I'm all is and love reading what you guys have to say so, fire away people. Meanwhile, I hope you found this video useful. Thank you so much for watching, and I hope you all have a brilliant day. I'll see you all in the next one. You.
