Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro - Which is the Right One for You?

What's up Maya welcome back to the channel, so this is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro versus the Xiaomi Poco x3 pro. So until I can confirm that Poco is actually an independent company, or maybe someone can confirm it in the comments. Then I'm just going to call this the Xiaomi Poco x3 pro, and I think this is my first time doing a smartphone comparison. So basically, these two smartphones, at least for me, are the two top dogs for mid-range smartphones under 300. So both of these are basically the same price. Well, that's exactly the same price, so you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro starting at 12 590, while the Poco x3 pro starts at 12 990.

Although one small thing regarding pricing. Well, I guess one significant thing is that the Poco x3 pro actually has an early bird price, so you can actually buy this for 10 i90. As of making this video, while Xiaomi didn't announce that the Redmi Note 10 pro will have an early bird price, so I'm comparing these two smartphones based on their MSRPs and again, like I mentioned the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro and the Xiaomi Poco x3 pro are like the two top dogs for mid-range smartphones under 300. Okay, so let's say that you have around 13 000 pesos in your pocket right now, and you're choosing between these two phones, so Redmi Note 10 pro or Poco x3 pro, that's where I come in okay, so the five pillars of a great smartphone credits to Mr MHD so build quality, display camera performance and battery. So starting off with build quality.

The Redmi Note 10 pro, has corning gorilla glass 5 at the front and back sandwiching a metal frame so great build overall. The Poco x3 pro, on the other hand, has corning gorilla glass, 6 at the front and a plastic back and frame. So if you remember from my review of the Poco x3 pro, I mentioned that I think the frame of this is metal and the way that I was able to confirm that the frame of the x3 pro is actually plastic was quite harsh, so here's a small dent it made when it dropped. I actually didn't drop it mind you, I'm kinda hard to explain so yeah, but even though the back end frame of the x3 pro is plastic, it still has solid, build, there's, no flex or creaking of any kind. But the note 10 pro just has a flagship phone feel as compared to the x3 pro in terms of overall design.

The note 10 pro has a more elegant and I guess you can say a mature design compared to the x3 pro, although I do prefer the implementation of the camera bump on the x3 pro, as it looks minimalistic compared to the one. On the note 10 pro I mean just look at it plus the x3 pro is a thick boy at 9.4 millimeters. While the note 10 pro is just 8.1 millimeters. Also, a few things to take note. So first up is the placement of the headphone jacks, the x3 pro.

Has it at the bottom, which I prefer more while the note 10 pro has it at the top. The top speaker grille on the x3 pro, is just this single hole. While you have these three holes for the note 10 pro, which explains why the output from the top speaker, grille on the x3 pro, is a bit weaker compared to the bottom speaker, grille also. It is important to take note that, even though the speakers on the x3 pro is a bit louder, the note 10 pro speakers are overall better, since it's better tuned in my opinion, speaker test the hole punch on the note 10 pro is smaller compared to the x3 pro the power button, fingerprint scanner on the note 10 pro has a convex design, while the one on the x3 pro is flat and has an indent, which I prefer, like I mentioned in my review since it's easier to fill out, but in terms of speed of unlocking your phone they're pretty much the same. So in terms of build quality and design.

The clear winner for me is the note 10 pro again: corning gorilla, glass, 5 at the front and back metal frame and a more elegant design and moving on to the display. It's no contest, obviously AMOLED on the note 10 pro and IPS LCD on the x3 pro. So here's the thing once you've been spoiled by an AMOLED display and go back to an IPS display. It's just me. I mean both of them still have 1080p 120 hertz refresh for a 240hz sampling rate and supports hdr10.

But the note 10 pros display covers 100 of the DC ip3 color space plus being an AMOLED display. Colors are just vibrant, accurate, deep blacks and just an enjoyable display for media consumption and gaming, perfectly viewable outdoors with a 1200 nitpick brightness as compared to the 450 nits on the x3 pro, so not the on the screen of the x3 pro. But this is like night and day so display if it wasn't obvious already the note 10 pro just shits on the x3 pro, although I guess one thing to take note is that this is an AMOLED display. So it's prone to screen burn in overtime, but that doesn't really happen after at least two years, so yeah so moving on to the camera, something I'm sure a lot of people are going to predict the note 10 pro wins easily because it has a 108 megapixel sensor as compared to the 48 megapixel sensor on the x3 pro well, the note 10 pro does win in the camera category, but not because of the difference in megapixel count, but because the image processing on the note 10 pro is just way better compared to the x3 pro so in the default photo mode in which both of these phones shoot in 12 megapixels, mind you. If you give this to good lighting, then they can give you really great pictures for mid-range phones.

But the note 10 pro has just better detailed, colors, dynamic range and more consistent in exposure, while the x3 pro tends to overexpose and most of the pictures that I actually take with it has a bit of a warmer or yellowish tone which I'm not a fan of, and the same applies for selfies, but you actually get a wider lens on the note 10 pro and also the same for videos. Okay. So this is the blog test for the Poco x3 pro versus the uh Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro, and what you're hearing right now is from the microphone of the Poco x3 pro, and what you're hearing right now is from the microphone of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro, and this is recording at 1080p 30fps with video stabilization turned on. But I guess the only advantage of the x3 pro has over the note.10 pro is being able to record stabilized 4k videos but yeah. For me, the note 10 pro definitely takes the win here and here we are with performance, we're in it's not a contest.

So, while in the display department, the note 10 pro just shits on the x3 pro, this is where the x3 pro just dominates the note 10 pro so a snapdragon 860 on the x3 pro with UFS 3.1. While you have a 732g with UFS 2.2 on the note 10 pro, so I'm just going to let these tests speak for themselves. So first up is restarting both devices and see how long they take to reboot launching gang shin impact. So both of these are set at the highest graphics settings at 60fps. With motion blur turned off and just simply panning the camera.

You can see how it's already stuttering on the note 10 pro, while it's just a buttery smooth experience on the x3 pro, obviously just browsing through the UI. You won't notice the difference in performance, but once you open up and play games, that's where the x3 pro flexes its muscle, so performance and gaming boom no contest and last up is battery where it's actually a tie. So this is the first and only time the note 10 pro and x3 pro has a draw. So you get 5020 Williams. On the note, 10 pro and 5160 Williams on the x3 pro now, while on paper, the x3 pro has a slightly bigger battery, but they perform the same here.

So my medium to heavy use, which is a combination of social media, YouTube some gaming and picture taking, will give you a little over six hours of screen on time and end the day with around 30 percent left, and both of these are two-day batteries for lighter users and, of course, both have 33 watts of fast charging in which you'll get zero to 100 and just a little over one r. So battery on these two get an s, excellent, okay, so for the tldr for this comparison. So if you're already decided on what you're looking for in a smartphone and what you're looking for is basically flagship level performance for not a flagship price you're, a hardcore mobile gamer, if you're looking for a smartphone in which its performance will age well, something that will be still perfect, even after a few years like it, will still be able to handle the more demanding games. That's going to come out after genii and impact then yeah. The Poco x3 is where your money's at, but if you're, a more casual user like me, and you enjoy just having a gorgeous AMOLED display, you enjoy video consumption watching YouTube.

Videos, Netflix and content on twitch also enjoy playing the more casual games in the play store. The more non-graphically demanding games also at the same time, having maybe one of the best camera experiences in a mid-range phone, then yeah. The note 10 pro is an easy choice for you. But if you're going to ask me which of these two phones I would choose, then it's gonna, be the Redmi Note 10 pro, mainly because I'm a sucker for that AMOLED display, and again I'm more of a casual user myself. But in all honesty, if you buy either of these two phones, you'll be really happy with your purchase and for these prices you're getting more than what you paid for trust me.

But let's say that your budget is a little over that 300 dollars, and you're. Looking for basically the best of both worlds, then the Poco f3 is the one for you and the Poco f3 is basically like a fusion of the note, 10 pro and x3 pro so yeah and yeah. Hopefully, you guys found this video helpful, of course, I'll leave the product links in the description and pin comments of this video um. If you want to buy any of the phones, I mentioned, of course, leaving a like is one of the easiest ways to support the channel and, as always, major stay safe. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next one peace.
