Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 vs Samsung Galaxy Fold - Speed Test! By Techtonic

Hi guys this is rogered Rahman from tectonic, and today I have a speed test between the original galaxy fold and the new galaxy zed fold 2. So the original galaxy fold had the snapdragon 855 chipsets, with 12 gigabytes of ram and UFS 3.0. The new galaxy before 2 comes with the snapdragon 865 plus chipset. It's also got 12 gigabytes of ram, but it's got UFS 3.1, okay, so they're both powered off I'm going to try and push the power button on both of them. At the same time, let's see which one starts up first, that was clearly the galaxy z42. What we can also do is launch the camera on both devices and see which one launches first, and that was the original galaxy fold.

So I'm not even going to try and do a fingerprint test on both of these, because it's a bit tough trying to get your finger on the sensor. Well, you know if you're trying to do it on both at the same time, but we can move ahead to other tests. So if you've seen any other of my videos um like this, then you'll know that I do. You know app launch speed tests here, so I've got various apps. I've also got bookmarks up to the verge and end gadget, and you know, essentially what I'll be doing is trying to tap on them at the same time, and we'll see which one launches first so for the browser test, I have cleared the cache and browsing data and cookies, and things like that.

So you know it's a completely fair test. So we'll start off with the verge that looked like the z42 to me. Now, let's do Engadget when it's very close, isn't it, but I think the zed fold two had that just by a fraction of a second okay. Now, let's move on to apps so Netflix and at the same time YouTube the original galaxy fold, Amazon shopping both at the same time, I am db both at the same time Crunchyroll the original galaxy fold. Okay, now, let's move on to some games, so Mario run first temple run too.

So, let's see that was the galaxy before 2. Sky force reloaded so that looked like it was at the same time to me. So, as I mentioned, the original galaxy folder has UFS 3.0 and the new one has 3.1 um. So what we'll do is we'll launch PUBG, mobile, and we'll see which one loads the game first um. So it looks like you can't run PUBG mobile on two phones at the same time, but it did look like the zed fold 2 won that race.

So now that both phones have already launched these apps we'll see which ones have retained in memory. So we'll start off again with Netflix, and we'll see which one starts up. First, before 2 YouTube, so that was the before 2 same time, IMDB z42! It seems like there's less animation on the z42, but these you know both these phones are at their default settings. So I've not lowered the animation um or anything like that. Crunchyroll before, 2, Mario run set for two again temple runs z42 again, sky force reloaded pretty much the same time.
