realme 7 Pro Unboxing and Hands-On

What's up guys Justine here of your tech, and I'm pretty sure most of you can remember the Realme six pro that was just released earlier this year. There are a lot of things we liked about it, including the 90 hertz refresh rate display two times optical zoom telephoto and that stunning back design. But now we have this realm 7 pro, and it may not have all those features anymore. But let's see what it's got in this unboxing and hands-on, so here's the box and lifting the top cover will show the smaller yellow box. That says: hey welcome to Realme family now inside it are its jelly case and some manuals underneath is the phone itself. Let's take a closer look, it kinda looks like it's glowing cool now.

Other things included. Are this USB type-c, cable, a 65 watt power, brick and a sim ejector tool, and that's everything so highlighting the phone itself from the get-go, the realm 7 pro looks perfect. Even with a polycarbonate body, it seems elegant with its frosted back, which they say is a water, repellent coating and just like its standard version. It touts a mirror's face design that creates this fantastic light effect when you move the device in different directions. The unit we have is in the mirror blue color, but there's also a mirror silver variant.

That looks equally premium here at the back, we'll find its rectangular quad camera setup, as well as the Realme branding in the hands. The realm 7 pro feels solid and sturdy. The curved sides make it comfortable to hold. However, a one-handed operation can be quite tricky if you have small hands, it's also quite a smudge magnet, so better use a case on found in the top left corner of the screen is a punch hole for its front-facing camera and the call speaker on top of the display- that's also a secondary speaker. Yes, it has a dual speaker setup, and I'm liking the high-res quality on the right.

We have the power button with a gold accent on it. It does match this color. Meanwhile, on the left, we get its volume rocker and a triple card tray with a dedicated micro SD card slot, that's expandable up to 256 gigabytes up top. We have the secondary noise-cancelling microphone and, at the bottom, are its primary microphone, loudspeaker, 3.5, millimeter, audio port and an USB type-c port in terms of display. This is where one of the upgrades from the 6 pro comes in the 7 pro now has a 6.4 inch, full HD plus super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch. It's also protected with corning gorilla glass, and it now has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

However, weirdly, unlike its non-pro version, the Realme 7 pro doesn't come with a 90hz refresh rate option. But despite that, the screen still looks great and offers punchy and vibrant colors, as you would expect from an AMOLED panel under the hood. The 7 pro packs the same Qualcomm snapdragon, 720g outscore processor, that the 6pro has, and it's paired with an arena 618, GPU, 8 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes, UFS 2.1 internal storage. So you can pretty much expect the same performance from its predecessor now. Another upgrade that the 7 pro gets is its battery.

It's equipped with a 4 4500 milliampere capacity with 65 watts, super dart, fast charging and realm claims that this technology can fuel up your phone from zero to a hundred percent in just 34 minutes. Well, let's see if the company can affirm its claim in our full review soon. As for software, of course, it's running on real mini, based on android 10. Moving on to its cameras, its quad rear camera setup is composed of a 64 megapixel Sony, mix 682 primary sensors, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide, a 2 megapixel black and white, and a 2 megapixel macro lens. Meanwhile, for selfies we have a 32 megapixel in display shooter.

Both the rear and front cameras feature the nights cape mode, which we're excited to test out more for our review, but for now check out the sample photos. So it's kind of a miss that the pro version lacks some pro functionality that the six pro has like the 90 hertz refresh rate display and perhaps a bigger battery capacity that they managed to include in the non-pro version. But then again, we still think that it's an interesting device, especially when it comes to its 65 watts, super dart, fast charging we'll take it for a spin, so stay tuned for our full review. Soon, if you're wondering about the price it's yet to be announced. As of the posting of this video, but we'll update you guys in the description box once it's available, if you want to catch real me's, Facebook live stream, launch event for the Realme 7 and 7 pro you can head over to their official Facebook page on September, 30 2020 at noon, and that's it for now.
