Poco X3 Pro: Gaming and performance review

Hi guys, my name is Sushant, altar and you're watching digital. Today, I have with me poker's latest mid-range, offering the x3 pro, but before we start talking about the device and give you the take on gaming and overall performance of the phone, let me remind you to click the bell icon and hit the subscribe button so that you don't miss out on any future updates from us with that out of the way, let's get back to the poke x3 pro. To be honest, this new Poco phone is a strange beast launched at a starting price of rupees 18 triple nine. It comes fighting against popular offerings from both realm and Xiaomi. To be specific, we're talking about the Realme eight pro and the Redmi Note 10 pro max. Both of these are phones that are in the same price bracket as the new homophone.

This price point also puts it within touching distance of the powerful meet and eye and the also 30 pro, both of which are different ends of the price spectrum. Yet, despite the strong competition, the Poco x3 pro attempts to stand out on its own because of its claims of being a beast at gaming. At the core of such claims is the Poco x3 pro's chipset, the Qualcomm snapdragon 860 soc, a tweaked version of the snapdragon 855 plus this soc features an outscore processor with Qualcomm's cry, 485 CPU cores clocking up to 2.96 gigahertz. The GPU again is the same as the 855 plus the Arduino 640 GPU for the Poco BC pro. The company has decided to pair this hardware, with a minimum of 6gb ram on the entry variant and 8gb ram on the top end variant of the device.

The results of this you are mostly good, as we found out during a review of the device. The Poco x3 pro handles pretty much all thrown at its way from apps of daily use and even benchmarks. The Poco x3 pro does not disappoint in day-to-day use. This 120 hertz refresh rate supporting phone feels snappy and browsing the internet. Switching between tabs or even heavy apps is a breeze.

However, gaming results were a little surprising while titles like Call of Duty, mobile, shadow gun, legends and asphalt.9 legends were handled well by the poke x3 pro. A trusted. Game man service exposed the occasional dips in performance and, as a result, the phone received mixed results in the test with the game bench service on the Poco x3 pro managed a median fps of 55 at a stability of 87 for asphalt, 9. Call of Duty mobile 3 of worst results as the median fps remained high at 59, but the stability dropped to 65 percent for shadow gun legends. The results again were a mixed bag, as the Poco x3 pro clocked a high median of 57 fps, but only managed a stability of 77.

However, these numbers look like a mixed bag when compared to the game by the results of devices such as the Realme 8 pro and the Redmi Note 10 pro max. This is because both the competing devices manage similar median fps, while playing Call of Duty as a poke x3 pro, but they did so at a much higher stability. While running asphalt, 9 legends, the stability was again much higher than that of the poke x3 pro, but the median fps on both devices was locked at 30 fps, but these game bench numbers alone do not adequately describe the raw power that the Poco x3 pro brings to the sub rupees 20 000 segments or the smartphone market. For that you have to visit synthetic benchmarks such as an tutu, geek bench and 3d mark wildlife in all three, the Poco x3 pro managed to hit really high numbers with its an tutu score of 540329, proving to be around two times the respective scores of the Redmi Note 10 pro max and the realm 8 pro. It was a similar case for geek bench, where the poke x3 pro hit a high single core score of 759 and a multi-core score of 2651.

In 3dmark wildlife, the poker phone managed to hit a score of 3471 points in comparison. The Redmi and realm phones only managed to reach scores of 1109 and 1047 points respectively. To conclude, do we recommend the poke x3 pro? Well? The short answer would be a yes if you're a gamer for rupees 18 9. This new poker device brings a lot of power, which is good enough for handling all the demanding games you throw at it. Yes, we did notice some stability issues with the device, but we expect those to be ironed out very soon with future upgrades after that, what will remain is a very fast phone with not just enough power to handle current generation titles, but also enough headroom to tackle more demanding titles a few years down the line.
