Latercase for OnePlus 8 Pro Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big on box, where we need that small techie and today, I am back with another big on boxing for you for the 1 plus a pro, and today we're back with a case from bladder case to unbox. Do a quick review as always I'll throw up the link in the video description. If you want to check it out, pricing is $39.99, so it's definitely going to be steep, and this is gonna, be a carbon fiber case, so really they're in direct competition against the official OnePlus carbon fiber bumper case. That's also going to be $39.99. So keep that in mind, and we'll check it out just to compare the two as well to see which one is the better value and I did the official one, and I thought that one was amiss. It just didn't give you enough camera protection.

So hopefully this gives you a more camera protection, and, hopefully is it hid, but we'll check it out to see if it's going to be a hit. Presentation got a little latter case, branding right there, a little clean white box, a very nice presentation. You got a little tray, you pop it out like that. So no struggles, no stress it will bust open guys. So my first impression you can see you got that soft premium finish from a carbon fiber case.

It just looks super soft, and it feels super soft to the touch as well. Nothing like having a premium carbon fiber case now. This is just gonna, be a basic coverage case: you're, not getting full coverage you're just getting some scratch. Protection top is completely exposed. Bottom part sit completely exposed, and then you got the cutouts that are also completely exposed for the power and the volume rockers.

So that's pretty much it in terms of protection. Now, that's it! You really don't get any type of branding at all, nothing at all, just a basic shell for again, probably just basic scratch or scratch protection, and maybe minor, drops and that's pretty much it and then in direct competition. You got the official carbon bumper case. That's definitely going to give you more overall protection. You got full edge to edge protection, and then you got definitely just a more little more grip and then more blue I would say.

This is a little thicker and kind of has a more premium build quality overall, just because you get full edge to edge protection and just got a little extra security. But what I'm talking about is camera protection. You can see right here, you're, not getting any camera protection for the side. They do a good job around the bumper right there, but then right here, it's completely cut off. So that part, it completely exposed four cameras.

That's why I call it this one, a miss which was really disappointed, because this is one of my favorite cases for one Plus lineup, but let's go and take this black that deep black looks gorgeous and wipe it down, wipe it down, make it look beautiful for the camera. Now again, this is just going to be from one of those minimalist people that wants this basic protection, almost like raw ROG and the phone I, like it, I'm. Actually a big fan of this case. If it first kind of did a review wasn't a huge fan of it because of the lack of protection, but then I started using it because I'm pretty careful with my phones, and then I really started enjoying it and I, usually rock it on a lot of my cases, so shout out to them and again, $39.99 is the price. It's pretty steep, but overall definitely looks premium.

Look at that that black on black, let's get a look at this thing that definitely looks really, really sharp and clean. You can see just the kind of that shimmer right there really, really nice. Now one thing I noticed first off it feels like it's a little short. It's almost sharp around the edges. You can see kind of how short it is: I'm, even rocking a screen protector and the screen protector cuts off at the end of the screen.

But this right here seems a little low. You can see it's almost really low around the bumper, where I feel like they could have raised it up just a little and it kind of peels Shabbat. It kind of where your hand is- and it's got a sharp feeling to it, which is definitely not pleasant to the touch, so I'm, not a huge fan of that at all. That's my first impressions. It does look nice, but that's definitely a big downfall.

For me, let's check out the camera protection. They do a great job of cam protection, look how minimalistic a six, but then they raise the camera up there. So you can see it's raised up above the camera, giving you a nice protection and then same thing right here. This is completely covered. I like what they did.

That's a very nice job with that, let's check out the lip because everybody likes a fat lip and there's no lip protection. Guys, let's be honest here, there's no lip protection, you don't even have any side or like kind of corner coverage. You just got really now the protection at all. So keep that in mind. I'm rocking a screen protector, so I'm, not too scared, but again no lip, and again I'm, just a really disappointed how short that is, and it just kind of really it's unpleasant to the touch.

Definitely not a good feeling for a $40 case following them up and down again easy access, no problems there. Let's get to the porch right here. Speaker, grill, looks good clean across the board: easy access. You are getting a little of coverage right there for their basic drops if it hits just right, but this bottom part is completely exposed and the same thing: easy access, but then look how short? That is! That's just disappointing to me. The fit is just a little: it's almost just a little shore like they kind of just cut it just a little short.

So that's really disappointing to me. Let's check out the with the front face. Give you guys a look at that again, nice looking case, you can see well the protection or lack thereof that you're getting, but then you can just tell how short that is really cut short. So that's disappointing. So overall I have to say I like the case I like the build, but it's definitely going to be a miss from me that the corners are just too sharp to me.

Maybe I got a bad cut. Maybe I bought a bad case whatever. But to me, it's not worth that price point. I'll, probably spin I was pricing them on the money for the actual official one, even though you're just getting a little of camera protection. At least you got enough right there, so it's probably raised up just enough you're gonna overall protection, and it just plain feels better than this one for the same price plus you're, just getting overall edge to edge protection versus just top or sides, and not top and bottom.
