Kyocera DuraForce Pro 64GB Military Grade Rugged Smartphone Review By Rezz Tech

Hey everybody- this is res Tech, and today we're gonna. Do a review of the her force. Pro ? right. It's an Android based phone! That's a! They said military spec, but it's a tough phone for Android users. Nothing like the Nokia way back in the day, but they claim it's a tough phone, and it has some pretty good reviews. So we wanted to grab one take a look at a new review, so we can give our opinions and thoughts about it and go from there.

Let's go ahead and get started all right. So this is everything that you get in the box. You get the actual phone itself. You eat the wall, mount you get the charger. The charger is a USB see just like most smartphones, nowadays, very, very common, nothing unusual about that.

Let's take a look at the actual phone itself, alright, so apologize, but the kickstand again, where an IT you know slash marketing company. So our reviews are not going to be that of amazing or stellar quality right, but there'll be reviews, it'll be honest, non-biased, so you guys can kind of you know, form an opinion. So this is the model East 6th, 9, 1 0, all right. This is the -. So, like I said before it does, it is a tough phone right, and it's supposed to be able to handle harsh conditions and environments.

It is certified to meet mil-std eight one, zero G standard for shock, extreme temperature radiation and more now, I, don't really know what the whole radiation part means, and I really don't want to find out, but anyway suppose keep going now. I am prior military served in the Army for a few years, and just because it says mil spec does not mean that it's the best quality. Sometimes it means that it's to the lowest bidder, thanks. You know for that. But anyways like I said it's not necessarily a bad thing, but this phone feels actually really really really sturdy.

Now, unfortunately, we're not going to be able to put this phone through some tests. You know we're not going to be able to drop it put it in water which, by the way it is water, resistant, um and things like that. But this phone does feel sturdy. It feels honestly just like a regular phone working external case right. It is kind of plastic, but I feel like you could handle hood drop or two and be just fine.

So for those of you in the construction field, miss ataxia might not be a bad option. It is an Android baseball, and so you get access to the Play Store everything you love about Android and then some the phone actually seems pretty quick. All right, I'm, not gonna, take off the case or the excuse me the screen cover, but it actually feels really really really quick. So I can get in here. Oh, quick camera option, MMM microphone, ?, that's actually pretty cool.

This right here is a programmable key. You can use it to do whatever you want, ?, just your regular Android phone, everything about it. Let's see if I can get it to come up there. It goes all right. So everything about the phone does seem pretty quick and sorry that sticker right there, the Middle's kind of inconvenient but again I, can't take it off because uh we don't own the phone.

We have to take it back once we're finished. They were nice enough to. Let us borrow the phone for a little to do a review on, but anyways it is fast. Are you know it's not anything crazy? It's not like a Sam song, it's not like the Google picks or anything like that um. This is truly a work phone right.

So, if you're looking at group of phones for your, you know lawn care service for your construction company. Anything like that. This is actually not a bad option to have it will, it feels like it can take a beating and keep going and not stop. Now this phone does have a 13 megapixel camera, and it's two point: eight nine inches in width and five point: nine inches in height right. This phone is claimed to have 13 days of standby time, 31 hours of usage time I, don't know how true that is or not, but you know just like everything right, Mpg and other phone companies.

They have a certain way to test things, including the battery and things like that and that's what they came up with, how sure that is I, don't really know. This phone, however, does have the sapphire sealed right, so it's very resilient against scratches and impact damaged, so weak, and again I keep saying it right. That's the best way to put it for lack of a better term. This phone could take a beating, and you know, look like it can keep going now. This phone does have a two-year warranty on it.

Now, for those that you don't know, those are it's a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer all right. So if you never had to deal with a warranty claim or manufacture warranty, they can deny your claim or approve it based off of really whatever they want right. It's kind of a purse of the fine print, so it does feel perfect in your hands. Right, it's not too heavy, it's just partly not too heavy at all for a phone like this, but it's got enough weight to it. So it feels like it's very you know stable.

We might see if we can buy one of these phones and put it through some stresses test anything. But at the moment we don't make any plans on doing that, but if this is, if you're looking for a tough phone to have- or if you drop your phone a lot, if you need a phone, you know for any type of outside activities, lawn care things like that. This might be the phone free to go and take a look at I can range anywhere from 249 to you know, 500 bucks, depending on where you get it. It does also have a slew of options right. You can put a micro SD card in there.
