Galaxy Watch 3 45mm Review

So, what is up guys nick here, helping you to master your technology, galaxy watch, 3, unboxing and first impressions, you can see watch three right there. I did decide to go with the 45 millimeter Bluetooth model. This is around 430 bucks or so, and you can get the 41 millimeter for around 399. Now consider those are the full prices. You can also finance this, or you can also trade in old devices to get a massive discount. I actually had a promo code from Samsung, so I actually got it for around 130, but you guys might have to pay a little more, but also you can get this on carriers as well.

It's going to be available at Verizon at t, t-mobiles print and also comes in mystic, bronze, mystic silver. You can also get this in this black color. I got here, you'll see when we get in how it looks now on the side of the box. It does say: Samsung Galaxy watch three and at the top you can see the Samsung logo and on the back it'll just kind of tell you what's included in the box here, Samsung Galaxy watch three: the package contains the Samsung Galaxy watch, 3 45 millimeters, face 22 millimeter standard straps, go with this one wireless charger, quick reference guide, Samsung terms and conditions and just other bunch of legal stuff they put on the back there, nothing too exciting. So let's go ahead and get in the box.

And yes, I pulled it off just to see if it was in there, because this box was so light, and then I realized well, it's just because the watch is super light. I wasn't sure if it was in there. So I kind of checked before we did the unboxing. You can see right there. The watch is here and does still have the nice rotating bezel does make its return from the original galaxy watch.

Now, if you're wondering why did they go from the galaxy watch to the galaxy watch? Three where's the galaxy watch too well. The galaxy watches active 2 is already in the lineup this one right here, so you might actually get confused. Some consumers might confuse that that one's more superior to this brand-new watch, which it isn't because this is the latest watch here- and you can see right here. If you look closely on the design. Also, I want to show you before we boot it up that it does say: galaxy watch right inside this button right here, so let me get a little closer there see if we can get into zoom, and you can see they engraved the galaxy watch right in their inside that button.

Pretty nice touch there. If you ask me- and this does have- that nice rotating bezel- you can see right there kind of a darker stainless steel color- I went with it, says: galaxy watch, 45, millimeter, stainless steel case gorilla glass, DX, similar to the galaxy watch active two. It is mil std, 810g spec GPS made in Vietnam by Samsung. You can see right there, medium large 22, millimeter, leather, straps, so very premium. All-Around! Look for this watch.

Let's go ahead now and back it out, and we'll get this thing started up, and we'll get it set up as well. But while it's starting up, let me talk about some key specs. Well, a 1.4 inch display on here now. This is a 360 by 360 pixel display and, of course, you know with Samsung. It is super AMOLED as well, so very deep, black, very good contrast, not only that this does have support for always on, as did the prior galaxy watches nothing new there, but still nice to see it still makes it its return.364 PPI, so the tech's going to be plenty sharp on this panel for a watch I mean you're not going to notice it to be any less sharp than you know your phone, for example, and, of course this is rocking the ti zen based OS 9110 10, nanometer CPU. So speed should be just fine in this boy, and this also has ECG certification, but I'm not sure if we're going to be able to use it until the FDA does approve it.

In addition, 50 millimeter water resistance and Samsung pay on board. I'm going to go ahead now and hit. Let's go we'll go over here, get started, and you'll see on your phone, it's as easy as this we're going to go to our phone, we'll hit. Allow we'll allow this galaxy wearable all at all times to use the phone, and it's going to get ready and pair to the watch. Now you'll see right there, it's looking at my active, but it's also going to find this one as well.

Okay. So, let's pair this up, so what you do, is you just open up the galaxy wearable app? It should already be on your Samsung phone. If you have another android phone or an iPhone you're going to have to download the app we'll just click right here, and it's going to say: let's pair up, let's get ready to connect over here on your galaxy watch. You'll see it does just give you like this little check, mark you'll, tap that tap connect here, and it'll set up the phone and the watch pretty easily. So you see how fast it's going right there almost 100 percent.

Already I mean the setup process for the galaxy watch and the galaxy phones is just super simple, very easy to set up, so you can see 100 right there, and I'll be back when it is fully done here. Finishing pairing, and it shows right here that it does have the little watch logo and your phone icon right there and as these dots go through once it completes there, it will be done fully on the watch, and it says congrats on your new galaxy watch. Three we'll just select all of these for now, and we'll skip for now we're not going to restore any backups, and it'll say you're all set enjoy your watch. So it's that simple, and also you can manage everything about your watch right here in the app as well notifications, apps widgets and the massive selection of watch faces that you get with the galaxy watch three as well as other Samsung watches, there's just so many to choose from in the store, because Samsung has allowed third parties to make their own faces for this watch opening up the amount of faces you can get tenfold. So now that we're here on the watch, it's going to say take a look around, and it's going to show you that you can use this physical rotating bezel.

You can go back or forth, and man it feels just so nice to have that tactile response on your watch. It's just super easy to just use this thing, and I could tell you right now. What I'm noticing already just looking at this face is that the face of this watch right here is also just a lot sharper than some older galaxy watches. So, if you're coming from a gear sport, I think you're going to have an easier time reading this display, although those other ones were not hard either. Some of those older watches just didn't look as sharp as this one right here.

So this is definitely a nice screen for this one. You could see you have your activity now. This one seems to be more of a dressy watch, something you're going to wear on the day to day. You might not be wearing this to do all your activity tracking, but if you do, it's got those features, but I think the active is more suited for that type of stuff, but this is going to be a clean watch to go. You know, go on a date with the ladies with you know what I'm talking about fellas, it's going to be a great watch for that.

Also, just you know going out somewhere for dinner or something with the FAM. Whatever you got to do, it's going to feel like a really nice dressy watch, it's not going to look out of place, especially with this leather band. You'll be rocking with this one right here. Okay guys, so I forgot to show you the rest of the stuff in the box, so we're going to just quickly look through that. So we have the quick start guides there and let's go ahead and see what else comes in here, I'll open it from the bottom here, and you can see you just have a charger right here for your galaxy watch.

Let me go ahead and take this out. You can see at least they included a charger. That's quite nice! I know a lot of the phones are going to start to go away from including a charger. I actually have it on the wrist right now, but uh, it's nice, that we have a charger included in the box. Furthermore, I almost thought there wasn't one in there because of how light this box felt and other than that there's not really else much else in the box for this galaxy watch.

So we don't need that anymore and let me go ahead now and show you kind of the difference in size between the active two. What I notice is that the bezel is a lot bigger. It's just a lot more sturdy, a lot more like a watch, this one's more active, slim lightweight, the active, is still going to be the way to go if you're doing active stuff with your watch. It feels a lot lighter, but let's go ahead and take a look at some of the faces that come here. So you get a couple new ones here on this watch.

You get the eccentric one, the urban classic and some of the older ones that were already on the store. There are also some minimalist faces in here. A lot to mess around with, and a nice digital dashboard here for the galaxy watch definitely fill in that one right there. This is one you're going to see a lot in the marketing right here, the analog dashboard over here you got this new one. They talked about with the weather, which will kind of show if it's sunny, if it's raining, you'll kind of see it drip right there on the screen with live, animations, pretty sweet, then you got the sporty classic they're advertising right there.

So quite a bit of selection again and talking about the galaxy watches software again, we're looking at ti zen OS very easy to find your applications just scroll with the bezel very intuitive, really feeling this. And if you look closely here on the watch itself, there is some number on there as well, so you can use those as well to read the time. Do whatever you got to do on the watch? Okay, guys, so the battery life on this one should be a couple of days, and also you do have always on display. We talked about okay guys. So if you can see closely here, they also do include quite a few apps within the software calendar weather, Samsung health Bixby phone messages.

Of course, you can make calls on here. You also have some Microsoft Outlook included, that's their partnership with Microsoft, timer stopwatch Spotify as well and voice recorder. So all the essentials and, of course, the galaxy app store, not quite the best for adding your own apps, but for a watch. I really don't need that many apps. I just want the basics nailed for a smartwatch tracking fitness.

You know just good face selection and some good battery life, which just does provide, and you can see Samsung- did give you a little more storage than some of their older watches, eight gigabytes, so you now have 3.6 gigabytes used kind of out of the box, so you got more than half the storage again, if you're putting a ton of music on here. That'll fill up fast, but I think overall, it's plenty of storage here on the galaxy watch. Three and that's going to wrap this one up for the galaxy watch, three overall, a fantastic option in the Samsung ecosystem. If you want to use a Samsung watch with a Samsung phone or if you want to use it with an iPhone, you could still get this neat. Looking smartwatch, you don't have to be tied to a Samsung phone to use it, although it will work best.

If you use a Samsung phone with it, you can kind of set it up and then just forget about it. Just leave the features and the apps and the watch faces. You want and just use the watch by itself, and so that's it. This is the galaxy watch. Three mystic black comes in mystic, bronze and mystic white as well support for QI, wireless charging, I mean good, looks solid design, industrial design.

It's going to go great with your Samsung phone uh for the price. Uh you're. Definitely going to pay for it, but it's a premium product. So I think you'll be happy with the purchase overall. If you guys want to see any more content on the watch, let me know down below in the comment section this video, let us know if you got one if you're picking one up with your note, uh 20, 20 ultra or, if you're, just planning on picking one up soon.

Let me know if you have any questions nick you're up in you to master your technology. Thank you very much for watching and if you decide to pick one up enjoy your watch and, if not enjoy whatever smartwatch you're using you don't have to have this one. This is just a review catch you on the next one, peace.
