Galaxy S21 vs iPhone 12 Speed Test!

So, what is up guys nick here, helping you to master your technology, galaxy s21, 5g versus iPhone, 12 speed test, let's begin with a boot up in three two one and see which one could get there. First now the Samsung Galaxy s21 does have a snapdragon 888 on the model I picked up. It also does have itself eight gigs of ram arena 660 GPU, android 11 and one UI 3.1 over here- Apple A14, bionic, four gigs of ram iOS 14.4, and it does have apple's GPU and the iPhone 12 boots up faster than the galaxy s21 when it comes to unlocking these phones. The galaxy s21 does feature that in-display fingerprint sensor, which also can be unlocked without even having the screen on. So I personally think it might be a faster way to unlock the device versus the iPhone 12. You can also use this camera up here for a face unlock, although it's not as secure, but even this being like this, I mean it just seems a little quicker to go ahead and get into the device right there.

As long as you know where it's at your see, I didn't get it exactly perfect, but once you know where it's at it's very fast now when it comes to the iPhone 12, we do have to look at the device and swipe in and while it is very fast to respond, it isn't the fastest, because you have to do two steps now. I do think apple will eventually bring a touch ID scanner to their next flagships. But for now I think the Samsung Galaxy s21 is a little faster at this hey guys. So we do have the same applications lined up on both phones. Let's begin with clock, and you can see that looks pretty similar, we'll go to calculator Samsung with a little of a faster animation.

To be fair, you see, and it did load up play store a little faster, but once in the apps it does seem like the iPhone does start to beat it out in some areas. So we'll come out of there, and we'll go into Instagram, and you could see Instagram loads here first for the Samsung device. But then, when we go to the profile page, the iPhone had that first, and then we'll scroll through here you'll see a faster snappy scroll over here. More of a smooth scroll again, the iPhone 12 doesn't have 120 hertz we'll go over here into twitter, and then we'll go ahead and open up the profile page. You can see Samsung a little faster there to the profile page, we'll swipe home and look at how similar that gesture is when going home looks like Samsung might have had eBay.

But look at that gesture going home very similar, we're going to Amazon. You could see Amazon first there to the Samsung Galaxy s21, we'll go into best, buy, and you'll see best buy, does load first there on the left over the iPhone 12. , we'll hit b h now, and you can see b h again. I think that was the s21 very fast here and looks like the iPhone in the app is overloading this a little faster, maybe we'll go into ESPN and if I'm wrong on any of these go ahead and call it out down below. In the comments just say, nope that was this one.

You called that one wrong. I am human, let's go over here and go to scores, and you can see that looks like the iPhone did catch up. So Samsung seems to pop a lot of these apps open first, but when in the app the iPhone's very well optimized, so sometimes it seems a little quicker you see, Samsung did have YouTube music. Open first did give us a little pop-up, but it did have it open. First, we'll come out of there we're going to pub g mobile here's traditionally, where Samsung has not really been faster than the iPhone, but it says I don't know.

Maybe you need to shut up today, nick because I'm booting up a little faster than the iPhone 12. , so you can see. Okay, the iPhone 12 comes back says no, so it did load up those pre-rolls before we got into the actual page, but very similar PUBG is well optimized for both of these platforms, we'll go ahead and hit match up and see which one get into the match. First. Do keep in mind know that the iPhone 12 can hold a little better game or frame rates in games.

So essentially you might get a little better gaming performance here on the iPhone, but you have a smoother display in the 120 hertz on the galaxy, so you kind of got to pick and choose what matters more to you and the iPhone slightly faster to the match, but nothing that's going to make a difference in your everyday gaming experience. Let's go into motor combat here on both devices, and you'll, see Mortal Kombat does seem to load up here first for the iPhone and then comes the Samsung, but they're not too far off again. This seems to be the case for most of these apps, but now the Samsung definitely far off here from the iPhone immortal combat, but it's still not a bad overall performer, the iPhone has been doing games great for a while, and I think Samsung's getting really, really close here in terms of performance. It's almost like what matters more to you. Do you want the Samsung ecosystem, or do you want the Apple ecosystem? We'll come up out of here went the wrong way there, let's go into tempo run, and you'll see what happens here in temple run.

They can both tear through these games. Let's hit play- and we can see- we are now here in temple- run both of them perform exceptionally well going to be a very similar experience, as both these have a similar size display, we'll go into dead, trigger 2 now and see how they do here. iPhone says sit down as 21. You know how long I've been doing this I've been doing this for Samsung says I've been doing it for years too. It's not my fault, I'm not running the full galaxy experience.

We are running android and Samsung combined here so yeah I mean for this being googled software with Samsung's optimizations. This phone is performing excellent, but the iPhone still seems to eke it out just a bit in the games. Let's go into camera, and you can see camera first there for the iPhone, but we'll have to do more camera comparisons when it comes to how the image quality is. But overall I would say: Samsung apps and animation seem a little faster. I do like how Samsung has improved when you swipe out of the games.

It's now super smooth the iPhone still doing very good in the gaming department. The regular apps don't load, I think as snappy as this device, though so let me know your thoughts on this app test down, below which one, you think is the faster overall experience or which type of experience do you prefer? Okay, guys. So now, let's run back through the applications to see. If we do get any reloads on either phone, so we'll go into dead, trigger 2. You can see they both had that going.

Let's go into tempo run, and you can see temper run seems a little snappier there for the s21, we'll go into Mortal Kombat. So definitely the s21 is a flagship performer hands down we'll go on to pub g. We already know that the iPhone's a flagship performer, but you can see with the four gigs of ram. We are getting a restart on PUBG mobile here, whereas we were still in the match for the Samsung. It could be that I just lost in the matches reloading the game, but still you know I would have liked to bend where I was.

It looks like we're having a full reload there we're going to YouTube music, you could see YouTube music reloads for the iPhone ESPN, a reload for the iPhone here again. Double the ram on the left. Eight gigs, both of them loaded up there we'll go into best, buy and Samsung, was ready, we'll go into Amazon and both seem to be loading that up again we'll go into eBay, and you can see. Samsung had that first twitter, and it looks like Samsung had that first as well, Instagram and you could see apple had that, but both of these don't look like they're holding all the applications. In the background, these aren't no 12 gig of ram 16 gigs of ram phones, so I've seen actually better performance than both of these.

On other devices like OnePlus 8 pro was able to hold more applications. For example, the iPhone 12 Pro max was able to hold more applications. So these aren't the best. These two particularly aren't the best. I think overall in terms of ram management, but how many apps are you going to be opening at once and flying back through multitasking on your smartphone? Let me know down below, and so the final scores are in now this phone right here, the galaxy s, 21 5g got 932, and I've seen it around a thousand before so.

This score can vary, but I haven't seen it go much higher than say like 1100, you can see 31. On the multi-core. That's on android 11. Now here for the iPhone 12, look at the score, 1587 on the single core 4003 on the multi-core and that's running on iOS 14.4. So definitely a crushing victory, at least in the single core for the iPhone, not a major victory in the multi-core, but definitely wins it out there.

But you've seen in this video that that doesn't always tell the whole story, hey guys, and we did a sun spider JavaScript test as well, where we basically are seeing how fast the web pages can refresh on Samsung internet versus safari, and we got a much faster score there for the iPhone 12. In addition, when I did do the 3dmark wildlife benches, I did get a little of a better detailed score for the iPhone 12. We got like an 8 000 versus like a 5 000 here. So let's put it this way. I do think the iPhone 12 is the faster device, especially in the benchmarks, but the galaxy s21 is a phone.

That's not gonna! Let you down in the real world experience, for example, if we go over here to display, take a look at this motion smoothness. We could put this in adaptive at hertz and this thing will just feel super slick and super smooth and those animations on one UI.3.1 are a lot smoother, so the experience is still very good here. We know it's great on iOS. Furthermore, we know it's great on the iPhone 12. Furthermore, we don't even got to talk about that, but the iPhone 12 to me is the winner of the speed test.

Let me know which one won it out for you, which one you would pick down below in the comments section of this video thumbs up. If you enjoyed it subscribe for more and if you guys watched the video before we had to remake this one because we missed the line of apps, thank you for continuing to support. I will catch you all in the next episode be sure to be well and peace. You.
