Apple Watch Series 6 Unboxing + Setup + First Impressions!

What's going on guys and welcome to the channel today I have for you, the unboxing and first impressions of the Apple Watch Series. Six in front of me is the 44?mm version of the Apple Watch with blue casing, which is by the way one of the new colors released by apple this year, and that is paired with the sport loop band in the deep navy color, the series 6 starts at 399 USD for the 40, mil version or 429 USD for the bigger 44 mil versions. So the same as last year's series, 5. Packaging wise, it's pretty much as standard with the Apple Watch itself in one box and the band in the other box, as I have opted for the Apple Watch with blue casing, the cover also matches the color, which is pretty neat. So there are some paperwork on the side here and below. It is a wireless magnetic charger.

One thing that you will notice here that is different from last year's model is that there isn't an included charging brick. It's honestly, not a big deal. It's 20 20. , most people probably have more than one of them lying around anyways. The Apple Watch itself looks exactly the same as the series 5 from last year, but I am really liking.

This new color apple calls it blue, but it's more of a dark navy, blue color in person. So the only noticeable physical difference between this year's series 6 and the series 5 are these additional set of sensors at the back, and that is used to measure blood oxygen level, which is pretty much the main new feature in this year's model, and I'll talk a bit more about it later on so moving on to the band. This is a new color as well. It's got accents of orange and light blue on the sides with a navy blue finish, and it's darker than the watch itself. This year, a lot of attention was put on apple's new watch band, the solo loop.

Although the idea sounds cool, I still prefer to have my watch band adjustable and I just feel like with the solo loop, it's hard to get the fitment I'm after and since it is elastic, and you do have to stretch it every time you take it on and off it could potentially get loose over time again, I'm not saying that it will, but that's just my fault, the pairing process hasn't changed. The phone recognizes the watch without me. Even doing anything, then you just hold the watch up to the camera, follow the on-screen menu, and you're pretty much all set. The part that will take the longest is customization which I'll leave for another video so make sure you're subscribed. So you can see it when it comes out.

So, let's quickly test the main feature of the series six and that is measuring blood oxygen level, aka blood, oxygen saturation. So, first, it's obviously an optical sensor, so it pretty much shines red and green lights at your skin and by measuring the light that is reflected back into the senses, it is able to determine the percentage of oxygen. That is in your blood. As I said, this whole system depends on reading refracted light and the problem is the wrist is a pretty burning part of your hand, so the light is going to get refracted prematurely by that phone, and it could make the results inaccurate. A reminder message does pop up the first time you run the test recommending wearing the watch a bit higher up your wrist, which does line up with my theory, because there is a bit more flesh there.

So, theoretically, the results should be a bit more accurate, there's, obviously other stuff to talk about, such as sleep tracking battery life watch, OS, seven, which just recently came out, but I'll leave that for the full review so stay tuned, so that pretty much does it. My unboxing setup and first look at the new Apple Watch Series. Six. It does mean a lot to me to see the channel grow so make sure to subscribe. If you haven't already have a great day, and I'll see you soon, you.
